World Athletics is one of the leading International Federations for the fight against doping. In April 2017, World Athletics launched an Athletics Integrity Unit (“AIU”), which is responsible for the implementation of World Athletics’ anti-doping programme globally.

With over 7000 tests conducted annually, the AIU manages one of the most comprehensive and universal testing programme of the sport movement. The AIU testing programme is two-fold: in-competition testing organised at World Athletics competitions and out-of-competition testing which consists of organising no-notice tests outside of competition periods, for a pool of up to 800 elite athletes, on the basis of whereabouts information that they have provided.

The AIU is looking for an Athletes Whereabouts Coordinator, Monaco based, who will be responsible for assisting athletes with their whereabouts obligations and for checking athletes whereabouts’ compliance with the relevant rules. The Whereabouts Coordinator will also help the Education team with specific content or sessions related to whereabouts and the out-of-competition testing programme in general.

Key responsibilities:

· Assisting athletes with their whereabouts obligations

Ø Maintaining good level of engagement with athletes/representatives

Ø Written communications to athletes

Ø Advising athletes on whereabouts requirements

Ø Advising and assisting athletes representatives

Ø Setting-up ADAMS access for whereabouts filing

· Whereabouts review

Ø Reviewing and checking whereabouts submissions for compliance

Ø Proactive communication to athletes/representatives

Ø Liaising with National Anti-Doping Agencies for coordination

· Administration, reporting

Skills and experience:

· Previous experience as customer relationships/service or similar profile

· Interest and good knowledge of Athletics (institutions, governance, competition organisation, relationships between stakeholders)

· Knowledge of Anti-Doping Rules and processes

· Ability to anticipate and resolve solve problems with multiple constraints, think laterally and offer creative solutions

· Excellent English, written and spoken.

· Good knowledge of database environnements

· Ability to create reports from database for analytical purposes

· Ability to prepare and compile statistics

The testing programme is a central pillar of the AIU’s anti-doping strategy with over 7000 doping control tests conducted annually, including over 4500 tests at more than 300 World Athletics Competitions (World Championships, one-day meetings, road races).

The AIU is looking for an In-Competition Testing Coordinator who will assist the In-Competition Testing Manager in ensuring that the doping control requirements at all World Athletics competitions are fulfilled. This includes providing daily support to competition organisers, both across the Track & Field and the Road Running Programme. The In-Competition Testing Coordinator will also work at enforcing AIU policies and strategies at World Athletics Competitions (AIU testing, target testing, samples retention, additional analyses…).

The role includes:

· Programme implementation

Ø Assisting and advising competition organisers with preparation of testing operations and understanding of requirements

Ø Coordinating/advising testing service providers during preparation and delivery phases

Ø Implementation of test distribution plan for the event (including target testing) with lead DCO/Anti-Doping delegate

World Athletics is the international governing body for the sport of athletics that includes track, field, and road events. World Athletics is seeking an Education, Event and Network Coordinatorin its Headquarters in Monaco

The Education, Event and Network Coordinator of the Health & Science Department will assist the Department Director with missions and projects related to the education of healthcare professionals in charge of elite and recreational level athletes. To achieve her/his mission, she/he will work in close relationship with numerous scientific experts, universities, academics, networks, scientific societies, and companies in the field of sports medicine, life science, epidemiology, and preventive medicine. A large part of these tasks will be conducted through the World Academy for Endurance Medicine (WAEM); an entity aiming to become a major player in education, prevention and applied research in the field of endurance sports medicine.

The Key responsibilities are:

Assist the Managers to run and grow the Endurance Medicine Academy

· Develop and update the pedagogical contents for the WAEM website, course, e-learning platform. Control the production.

· Develop and maintain close relationship with experts, healthcare professionals, race medical directors to develop the pedagogical content.

· Manage logistical aspects of the Race Emergency Medicine Courses (REMC).

· Manage the financial aspects, budget, registration of both REMC and WAEM.

· Coordinate with scientific societies and academics and fellowship projects.

· Support the Department Director and Managers to apply for international grants.

· Promoting (marketing) WAEM outside World Athletics.

Develop partnerships around Health & Science activities and the WAEM:

· Approaching, in collaboration with our Partnership Department, potential partners interested in collaborating/funding part of H&S activities.

· Advising H&S Managers on how to better showcase and sell their expertise and products: i) courses, ii) continuous education program, iii) air quality services.

Coordinating H&S Publications and Communication

· Coordinate with the department managers the dissemination of knowledge and produced content: i) scientific journals, ii) symposia and conferences, iii) targeted groups in Athletics.

· Collaborate with the Communication Department about the Health and Science section of World Athletics website (H&S yearly Communication Plan).
