Position Description:

The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator (DWPC) will work collaboratively with the designated client’s health promotion team to provide face-to-face health coaching with eligible participants as well as raise awareness of the onsite program and the WebMD products and services that enable it.

Located in Los Angeles, CA at the site of the designated client, the DWPC may be responsible for or part of face-to-face coaching sessions with a determined number of eligible participants per week. The caseload and triage criteria will be decided with the designated client, making up a percentage of their job. Similarly, the candidate may plan/conduct an indicated number of onsite learning sessions per year and focus part of his/her time on program management. This schedule will also be planned, with the appropriate goals set, alongside the designated client, within the implementation stage of onboard. The DWPC will work with and be a resource for the individual employer units in their health promotion activities.

The DWPC is responsible for client satisfaction, retention and reference-ability. S/he will act as customer advocates, as well a point of contact with senior Customer stakeholders to increase participant engagement and maximize value delivered through the WebMD relationship. They can provide thought leadership and support program planning and impact assessment, as well as coordination and promotion of service.

DWPC’s proactively identify opportunities for service delivery enhancement and improvement. As opportunities are identified, they work with other Client Services staff, Account and Product Management to improve processes, and develop new solutions.

The successful candidate will have a background in a health promotion, exercise physiology, and/or nutrition.

In this role you will:
• Perform face-to-face at-risk health education based on participants' completed health risk appraisal; one-on-one, video, active, & group coaching
• Create a culture of well-being at the worksite level
• Provide assessment of at-risk areas and provide referral to appropriate resources
• Understand and deliver client-centered coaching through a combination of reflective listening and identification of readiness to change
• Assist participants' progress through the stages of change for at-risk behavior
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques to elicit behavior change and reduce participant ambivalence
• Improve the health lifestyle behaviors and overall health of participants.
• Participate in collective record keeping which allows for continuity to exist between multiple health education sessions
• Work with the Fulfillment department in delivering specific, supplemental health related materials to participants
• Assist in the production of aggregate reports which incorporate the health education calls made to clients' participants
• Coordinate the flow of information and materials between WebMD and individual employer units located in the area
• Assist with day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from the client and WebMD account team

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• BS/BA Required, MS/MBA differentiator
• Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is required
• Professional Certification from National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years Wellness Coordinator/Health Coaching or similar client-facing experience required

Position Overview:

The Mercury Healthcare enterprise data platform will enable health systems to create a holistic patient view, eliminate data silos, and improve patient experience. This enterprise platform will bring together once disparate data into a single platform, breaking down data silos and making data more useful across an entire organization. The Mercury Healthcare data platform will also serve as the underlying data management solution for powering Mercury Healthcare CRM and other customer experience execution systems while enabling health systems to reach beyond traditional efforts to improve and manage patient experience and patient engagement. Our Data Integration team, leveraging Mulesoft and APIs, plays a crucial role in integrating systems and data not only within Mercury Healthcare, but with our clients as well!

In this role, you will split your time between lead activities, architecture and hands-on development. If you are a lead developer who is a hands-on technologist and your idea of fun is to leverage the latest technologies to deliver a world-class product, you will fit right in!
What You Will Do:
• Lead and work alongside a team of engineers to build integrations using APIs and Mulesoft in a 100% cloud based environment (Hybrid AWS and CloudHub) that will directly affect the mission of Mercury Healthcare
• Sets priorities and assigns tasks to team resources
• Deliver batch and near-real time data integrations to process incoming healthcare information quickly and reliably
• Lead and establish best practices around test automation, a continuous delivery pipeline, and automated data quality solutions as part of a forward-thinking, agile organization
• Gather requirements through direct interaction with the business/product stakeholders
• Communicate deliverable progress and outcomes, both written and verbally to business and IT leadership
• Review team members' code and unit testing for correctness and quality
• Ensure the resiliency, scalability, operational readiness and security of delivered integrations.
• Tracking Mule usage
• Lead team member performance and create development plans to build on employee strengths
• Support and enable Agile Software development teams - removing roadblocks to development through collaboration, communication, and creative solution recommendations
What You Will Bring:
• 8 years experience in developing software using Java preferably in Integration background
• 5 years experience in building APIs and API Management in Mulesoft - including capacity planning, load balancing, performance tuning, high availability and multi-sites disaster recovery.
• 3 years of experience as a lead and mentoring other Engineers, ensuring API and Data Integration best practices are being followed and deliverables are being met
• 3 years in AWS Cloud and related certification
• 3 years of experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL/Maria DB, Snowflake
• 3 years of experience implementing Event Driven architecture using Kinesis, Kafka, Spark or such technologies
• Strong technical background that includes Integration, APIs/Microservices, Cloud Native Engineering and Distributed Engineering
• Proficiency in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT, etc.
• Strong technical background that includes Integration, APIs/Microservices, Cloud Native Engineering and Distributed Engineering
• Experience in at least one NoSQL database technology (ie Elasticsearch, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
• Experience providing estimates as well as planning and forecasting staff demand
• Experience authoring reference architectures and other engineering documentation
• Experience implementing security standards
• Knowledge of TDD, automated testing principles, and testing best practices
• Ability to setup CI/CD and other process automation including a familiarity with Jenkins/Git
• Knowledge (and experience) designing and building distributed systems for scalability and security
• A drive towards self-learning of new technologies, techniques and methods
• Test-and-learn mentality – you pivot quickly when an approach is not successful
• Keen attention to detail, eye for design and understanding the value of collaboration with UX/creative and product teams
• Familiarity with any marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Marketo
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
