The Warner Bros. Discovery Story

Warner Bros. Discovery is a leading media and entertainment company that creates and distributes premium and popular content from a diverse array of talented storytellers and journalists to global audiences through its consumer brands.

The Job
Since 2005, the company has awarded Reach Honorships, internship-scholarship packages, to graduating high school seniors passionate about the entertainment industry. Our company has a long history of supporting youth enrichment, ranging from educational programs to mentoring relationships to career opportunities. Through the Reach program, up to six outstanding Burbank and L.A. County students are awarded Honorships each year that include a scholarship and full-time paid internships at the company while enrolled in college. Successful Reach program graduates will be eligible for full-time positions at Warner Bros. Discovery. Careers in Studio Operations provide support for productions and include managing studio filming locations, overseeing grip and set lighting departments and facilitating costume and prop rentals. Careers in the production realm of the entertainment industry range from content development, marketing, post-production, sound editing to supporting positions on a set or in a production office.

Honorships will be awarded annually to graduating seniors from Burbank and L.A. County high schools. Each cash scholarship will be for $5,000, disbursed annually in equal amounts of $1,250 over four years. Applicants must have (1) a passion for a career in the entertainment industry; (2) effective verbal and written communication skills; and (3) a minimum GPA of 3.0 upon graduation. The funds may only be used toward the tuition and related expenses of an accredited college or university. Disbursement of funds will be made directly to the school once the Honorship winner is enrolled and annually thereafter for three years, provided a GPA of 2.75 is maintained.

In addition, the recipient will have the opportunity to receive four (4) consecutive, paid summer internships with Warner Bros. Discovery while in college, beginning with the summer immediately following high school graduation. Internship placements for business interns will be assigned based on interests, applicable skills, experience and open position availability.

Please note: Relatives of Warner Bros. Discovery employees are NOT eligible to participate in the Reach program.

Your New Role...

This Design Manager will join a team of top talent creatives responsible for all creative across the full portfolio of WBCP brands and franchises. • Designs and delivers trend-right innovative packaging solutions that works across multiple categories and differentiates between mass, specialty, collab and halo executions

• Develops and maintains an internal and external network of positive and impactful partnerships: colleagues, sr. management, retailers, licensees, and vendors

Qualifications & Experience...

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Sr. Manager, Home is responsible for managing a portfolio of category licensees across Home Décor, Furniture, Textiles, and DIY to drive revenue with a focus on the development and execution of short, medium, and long-term growth strategies. The Sr. Manager defines and develops business plans, strategies, white space opportunities, and goals for assigned categories, including budgets & quarterly forecasts, and sales pitches to ensure revenues meet goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under the direction of the Director, manages assigned Home categories
• Works with Category Director to develop strategic licensing plans and sales strategies and identifies growth opportunities for assigned categories
• Establishes and cultivates potential licensees and recommends appropriate licensees for assigned categories; Negotiate contracts and follows through to execution
• Responsible for organizing, executing, and analyzing licensee forecasts and participates in all budget meetings to establish revenue goals and track progress quarterly
• Monitors licensees’ overall performance throughout the contract term to ensure revenue meets budgetary goals, including product sales, retail placement, financial commitments, marketing efforts, and distribution strategies
• Works closely with Franchise, Product Development, and Creative to coordinate all aspects of licensees’ product development
• Collaborates with Retail Development teams to determine, establish, and track performance, address issues and launch strategies to build and manage WBCP brands at retail, as well as ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and actively pitch products for all key seasons/initiatives throughout the year
• Maintains knowledge of current industry trends and competitive landscape to share with the wider team and adapt key Home strategies where needed
• Attends assigned trade shows and visits licensees as necessary to develop licensee base for assigned categories
• Conducts regular business reviews with top licensees and provides assigned partners with Franchise and Sales updates when applicable

Work Experience
• Minimum six years of experience in sales and marketing
• Knowledge of the home furnishing industry is preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training, or Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field is required

Knowledge/Skills

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Director eCommerce manages the end-to-end customer experience for Warner Bros. Discovery Global Brands and Experiences eCommerce Shops. They will be expected to drive the successful and flawless delivery of prioritized capabilities while working cross functionally across teams in product, marketing, technology, and shared services. They must have a solid understanding of eCommerce site structures, navigation, digital operations, and fulfillment operations. Responsibilities include owning the E2E customer experience/UX for multiple shops, leading site operations including the features roadmap management and execution, marketing and merchandising site calendaring, customer service, and fulfillment. They will have a keen eye for balancing Customer Experience with technology capabilities and profitability.

The Director eCommerce will drive performance through KPIs and analysis with a focus on profitability, traffic, conversion, AOV and ROI metrics. They will measure results, identifying actionable insights, and routinely communicating with executive leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes a comprehensive eCommerce operation to drive rapid, profitable growth within the context of each brand shop, achieving sales and margin objectives
• Supervises and delivers programs and initiatives.
• Identifies new ways to continuously optimize our fans’ eCommerce experience (on site and with product fulfillment) using a data driven approach combined with customer insights, recommending and overseeing execution of all necessary elements
• Supervises an active digital marketing, merchandising, and site content calendar aligned with the brand’s business and growth strategy
• Analyzes and assesses the effectiveness of the website and customer experience features. Defines metrics and KPIs and provides regular analysis & performance reports of online performance to Senior Management and stakeholders
• Introduces new reporting and analytics techniques to improve understanding of eCommerce business, and customer segments
• Collaborates with other team members to develop integrated eCommerce campaigns and activations through all digital channels including email, display, social media, mobile and online.
• Prepares annual targets, provides ongoing results analysis and forecasting, and drives prioritization of investments through quantitative business justification

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience
• 10+ years in digital, ecommerce and/or omni-retail roles
• 5+ years’ experience serving as lead to deliver eCommerce experiences in a B2C environment
• Strong understanding of eCommerce shop structures, platforms, and capabilities
• Demonstrated experience in driving the aligned execution of digital marketing, site merchandising and customer experience for a product collection
• Experience with customer service, fulfillment, and shop operations executed through third party providers
• Experience with fashion, apparel and/or licensed product is a plus

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Warner Bros. Animation Inc. seeks a Post-Production intern for the WBA TV Production department. Position will gain insight and knowledge of the animation industry by way of practical work experience and exposure to various facets of the business.

The Daily
Duties could include:
• Gain insight and knowledge of the animation industry by way of practical work experience and exposure to various facets of the Warner Bros. Animation post department.
• Organize production materials and elements (both digital and physical).
• Help create documentation and collect delivery materials for various productions.
• Aide the transfer of materials to broadcast QC, closed captioning, descriptive audio vendors.
• Reclaim stock for production use.
• Quality control and categorize inventory.
• Partner with management to conduct various post production tasks as related to WB Animation.
• Observe the entire animation production process.
• Virtually attend dialogue recording sessions.
• Observe how audio is edited and shared with production teams.
• Help prepare and ship elements to studios for animation.
• Attend picture editorial sessions.
• Observe an audio mix and learn how audio elements come together to produce the final ‘sound’ of a program.
• Understand preparation for on-lines and final distribution.
• Virtually attend a final online color grading sessions.

The Essentials
Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
• Knowledge of MAC and PC platforms, including MS Office Suite strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere and Photoshop) preferred.
• Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures.
• Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)

development and formulation of the overall Intellectual Property global legal strategy for the organization. This position is

companywide business units (e.g., Consumer Products, Animation, Telepictures, Home Entertainment), including the oversight for analysis of searches and opinions as to availability and risk. The role will provide executive level leadership and lead a global team of dedicated IP attorneys and legal professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all aspects of the Intellectual Property legal group for all operating units, both domestically and
internationally
• Oversee all legal matters pertaining to intellectual property strategy and management for the organization.
• Oversee the negotiation and completion of agreements, confidential disclosures, material transfer, licensing agreements
and other intellectual property related matters.
• Ensure the organization is in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirement of the country-(ies) in which it
operates.
• Provide advice and counsel on a broad range of legal issues to the operating executives and management who support
the Intellectual Property function.
• Design, develop and implement legal policies and programs required to file and maintain patents, trademarks, copyrights,
and registered designs that protect the organization's products and patentable items.
• Serve as a key advisor to the business and partner with various functions throughout the company to identify
opportunities to protect intellectual property and to provide patentability, freedom-to-operate, and other legal opinions and
risk assessments.

Qualifications:
• The successful candidate has at least 15 years of relevant experience protecting and enforcing intellectual property
rights.
• Experience as in-house counsel and/or within entertainment industry preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and ability to influence to collaborate effectively are essential
• Ability to conceptualize and articulate practical and creative solutions to meet business needs and legal requirements
• Ability to lead and develop strong, strategic team of attorneys and legal professionals
• Ability to spot and analyze complex issues and devise practical strategies and solutions
• Knowledge of law and the legal environment of the entertainment industry sufficient to prepare legal documents,
represent the Company in legal proceedings, and advise Company management
• Experience overseeing trademark portfolio management and content security strategy
• Experience applying a patent strategy within an organization, preferably from an in-house position
• Extensive experience counseling senior executives at the highest level and has a proven ability to become a trusted
advisor to them regarding IP issues
• Must be able to prepare, negotiate, and interpret agreements and other legal documents
• Must be able to research legal questions and be able to clearly articulate and visually present complex legal advice

• Collaborate with other teams, especially Data & Analytics, Finance, Research, and Business Intelligence, to build the tools and processes necessary to drive strategy and analysis initiatives
• Support Content and other DTC teams in understanding current performance on the platform, connecting content insights to business opportunity
• Have a general understanding of industry trends and competitive activity and a desire to learn more
• Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, board presentations, and other leadership meetings
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-5 years of work experience, including 1-3 years in Consulting, Investment Banking, and/or Corporate Strategy -- particularly in the media and entertainment and / or direct-to-consumer space
• Excellent analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities, with a deep attention to detail
• Superior ability to synthesize the output from analyses, identify the “so-what,” develop early hypotheses, and propose the next line of inquiry
• Experience in building executive-level materials, with a keen eye for presentation design, and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations
• Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results, and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Passion for entertainment, love for content and avid viewer, as well as a passion for staying on top of industry trends while figuring out what the future will look like with a relentless focus on creating and improving consumer value.
• Collaborative and diplomatic by nature, but also willing to take and defend data- and analysis-backed positions in the ongoing process and dialogue around content selection.
• The successful candidate must be motivated, disciplined, taking initiative and be able to work effectively autonomously.
• Should be energetic, positive, and resilient with a demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and drive projects among cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, constantly changing and deadline driven environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $83,090 - $154,310 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
