The Associate Manager of Social & Community for Vogue Club will work with the Vogue marketing team, Vogue Club editorial team and Vogue audience development stakeholders to execute Vogue Club’s community strategy. Job Description:

The Editorial intern will be a vital member of the Teen Vogue team, supporting various editors and departments. This person will have a dive-right-in mindset and will be equally as excited to conduct an interview, take on a trending news writing shift, or create compelling SEO copy and as they are to assist with key behind-the-scenes tasks such as research, homepage updates, building galleries, refreshing old content, and learning every facet of Copilot, our proprietary content management system (CMS).

Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist editorial staff with a wide array of day-to-day tasks including building articles and galleries in our CMS
• Proactively pitch story ideas that fit into each of our content verticals
• Be open to assignments that range from trending news pieces and SEO galleries to short interviews, features, and captions
• Build shopping products for use in commerce stories
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, including editorial brainstorms
• Assist with production needs for photo shoots
• Assist with sourcing stories and other types of research
• Assist senior staff on select special projects, packages, and tentpole editorial events

The ideal candidate will:
• Be highly organized and proactive
• Be enthusiastic about learning various facets of the business
• Be open to feedback and use it to your advantage
• Have a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
• Possess strong writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Be up to date on culture, fashion/beauty/wellness, entertainment, and social media trends-i.e., always know what people are talking about right now
• Bring a fresh perspective to content and special projects
• Understand the basics of SEO and analytics, or have a deep willingness to learn
