• Assist with developing mitigation recommendations and track engagement
• Coordinate activities with other critical members of the TAT including University Police,Security, Student Affairs, Title IX, CAPS, Employee Relations, FEAP, and Risk Management
• Track escalations and de-escalation via the target, collateral contacts, and the subject
• Document all TAT case management, collection, and interview activities in SafeGrounds

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of related experience in case management, investigations, and/or mental health assessing and managing situations that involve threatening, intimidating, or disruptive behaviors.

Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and be board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible or certified in Pediatric Cardiology. The successful candidate will have completed a year of additional formal training in advanced heart failure, transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support and must meet the criteria to be recognized as a transplant physician by UNOS(United Network for Organ Sharing). Training at an institution with a high-performing congenital heart surgery and transplant program is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate is expected to be appointed to the Division of Pediatric Cardiology of the Department of Pediatrics. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is a strong division composed of senior and junior faculty. It comprises 13 cardiologists with various clinical interests, including heart failure/transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, interventional cardiology, imaging, adult congenital heart disease, and electrophysiology. There are currently three faculty members in the division currently caring for the heart failure/transplant/mechanical support population with whom inpatient and outpatient clinical coverage will be shared. Additional clinical responsibilities will include general pediatric cardiology inpatient and outpatient clinic attending. Participation in outreach clinics for heart failure/transplantation/cardiomyopathy will be expected as well by the second year of employment. We have two dedicated congenital heart surgeons who perform surgical procedures on congenital heart disease patients of all ages with some of the best risk-adjusted mortality rates in the country. UVA is the lead institution in the Virginia Congenital Cardiac Consortium, a three-institution collaborative that directs the highest complexity patients to the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital. The surgical program averages ten pediatric cardiac transplants yearly in addition to placement and management of mechanical circulatory devices. Our Children’s Heart Program has been ranked in the top 50 in the U.S. News and World Report annual survey for the past eight years.

This is a new role to support the growing needs at UVA. The incumbent will report to the Director of Academic Talent Recruitment and will not have direct reports.

The Talent Sourcer will proactively develop a pipeline of diverse talent aligned to specific business units. They will utilize multiple sourcing methodologies to identify, attract, recruit and continuous engagement with top talent for current and future hires. The Talent Sourcer will use various strategies for sourcing candidates to include online job boards, social media, networking, community outreach and referral sources. Responsibilities will include creating, tracking, managing and reporting on candidate pipelines through the applicant tracking system. In addition, the Talent Sourcer will partner with Recruiters to understand requisition requirements to identify and source talent for current staffing needs and provide recruiters with candidate market data as it relates to the requisition. As needed the Talent Sourcer will screen and interview candidates, attend career events/job fairs and place advertisement ads.

This position will be filled as a Talent Sourcer or a Senior Talent Sourcer depending on the successful candidate's experience, knowledge, and competencies.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• At least one year of relevant experience to be considered for the Talent Sourcer and at least three years of relevant experience to be considered for the Senior Talent Sourcer

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience and knowledge of passive sourcing approaches, tools and technologies to identify and attract candidates
• Experience with Workday or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

The Natural Science Department invites applications for an Instructor position (non-tenure track) in Anatomy/Physiology.
