• Prepare briefing materials for university leadership in advance of meetings with local government and community officials.
• Serve as a community relations advocate, representing the University before local civic and business organizations and increasing the visibility of the University in the region.
• Operate as a community contact and a key connector for potential business and governmental partnerships.
• Plan and execute campus events with key elected officials and community groups.
• Serve on the boards and committees of regional business organizations, representing the University's interests and enhancing community impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government contacts of all levels.
• Create and manage effective public presentations for civic and business groups.
• Perform special projects for the Vice President for Public Affairs as it relates to promoting and improving government and community relations for the University.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
• Position is an externally focused role that attends community committee meetings, breakfasts, luncheons, and evening receptions as they arise.

The University of Texas at Dallas Student Counseling Center (SCC) is seeking a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner. Psychiatric staff within the center work closely as a team to provide psychiatric treatment and follow-up care to UTD students. The center works as a collaborative team around initiatives to enhance mental health services for the students at UT Dallas. UT Dallas is an incredibly diverse campus, and all SCC staff members participate in monthly all-staff trainings related to diversity, social justice and equity to support provision of affirming and accessible services to UTD students. Clinicians at this time are offering both in-person and virtual mental health services and are allotted one work-from-home day/week. The SCC is open M-F 8am-5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the SCC Psychiatrist, the psychiatric nurse practitioner:
• Provides assessment and evaluations of UTD students seeking psychiatric care
• Provides diagnoses, psychiatric treatment plans, and prescriptions
• Provides ongoing psychiatric care via follow-up appointments, case management, and referrals
• Provides crisis intervention and follow-ups as needed
• Works with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, counselors, doctoral interns, and practicum counselors; consults as a clinical team member weekly at group consultation meetings or as needed by the providers
• Engages in weekly staff meetings and diversity forums with SCC staff - Provides trainings to SCC trainees related to psychiatric services and treatment provision
• Demonstrates commitment to equity and inclusion of people of diverse, intersecting identities
• Holds strong clinical skills and ability to maintain up to date and accurate documentation

The Assistant to the Callier Center Executive Director is responsible for the performance of complex and confidential executive administrative functions. This position will report directly to the Center Director and will play a key role in assisting the Director in executing their professional and academic responsibilities. Will interact with Center, clinical and academic personnel as well as UT Dallas senior administration on main campus in Richardson. The office of the Assistant to the Center Director is located at Callier Dallas at 1966 Inwood Rd.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years experience in office administration or project management experience, preferably in a university setting. An equivalent level of education and/or experience is acceptable.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide confidential and high-level written and verbal communication to individuals inside and outside the University of Texas at Dallas.
• Assist the Executive Director in managing her professional schedule, including the processing of confidential mail and phone calls.
• Assist the Executive Director in the management of Callier Foundation Board activities, including the organization of quarterly Foundation Board Meetings and Committee Meetings. This individual will also process specific Board financial transactions.
• Perform specific administrative/financial processing for the Executive Director's Office, including reconciliation of administrative accounts and credit card purchases. This individual will also schedule travel, track reimbursement for mileage and food and conduct yearly inventory audits of equipment in the Executive Director's Office. In addition, this position will be responsible for the scheduling of classrooms and conference rooms at Callier Dallas.
• Oversee educational events that are organized through the Executive Director's Office, including Bruton and Callier Prize Conferences and the weekly FLASH speaker series. This individual will also process continuing education credits (CEUs) for the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Texas Speech-Language and Hearing Association (TSHA), and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
• Provide administrative oversight of Callier Post-Doctoral Program and the processing of student scholarship recipients in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program.
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Development for Callier as necessary.
