SUMMARY

Provide security for Lumen Field and Lumen Field Event Center and WAMU Theater. Act as primary point of contact for all internal and external customers regarding security related needs.

The appointee will possess honesty, integrity, embrace diversity by demonstrating respect and kindness to others from different cultures, races, gender, socioeconomic backgrounds and religions, good judgment and the ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner without the unnecessary use of physical force or escalating the situation. Additionally, the appointee shall always present a courteous and professional attitude and appearance. This position is required to work both indoors and outdoors with potential exposure to inclement weather.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with facility and contract security personnel regarding all security related activities
• Implement all emergency procedures when situations arise
• Attend briefings with the outgoing Command Administrator or designee to review the shift log and address any outstanding issues. Repeat the process with the incoming Command Administrator at end of the shift
• Before the end of shift, prepare and submit complete and well written incident reports to the Security Lead or Security Manager for review and approval. Make suggested changes as deemed appropriate before the incident report is filed for recordkeeping purposes
• Investigate suspicious persons or activities encountered while on duty
• Review daily manifests to be aware of all the planned events during the assigned shift
• Provide professional class security and event related support to the event manager on duty, the guests and other staff
• Provide escorts to staff and contractors to highly secured areas as well as League officials and VIP’s on event days
• Responsible for handling internal communications devices such as phones, radios, etc.
• Operate and maintain Security and Fire Command panels located in the Security Operations Center and the Fire Control room
• Monitor the entry and departure of persons in the facility using access control and video management systems
• Manage in place key control measures
• Conduct initial investigations into complaints and/or incidents as directed by management
• Conduct patrols of the facility ensuring personnel and premises are safe preventing damage, burglary and other unexpected occurrences
• Responsible for signing out uniforms, keys, radios, timecards, etc., to staff
• Work with contractors, vendors, clients, exhibitors and site construction teams to exchange and gather information regarding check-in and check-out procedures
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Shift assignments may change often. Ability to hold over shifts as required to assist with special events
• Resolve conflicts through the use of excellent intrapersonal skills
• Perform other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
• Strong written and oral communication skills: proven ability to write detailed reports recording essential information regarding the incident; the ability to easily talk with individuals and develop pertinent information related to the incidents

• Manage Promoter Suite needs and special requests at Stadium and WAMU Theater events
• Provide oversite and manage internal expectations for non-traditional event spaces (i.e. tailgates/pre-events in Muckleshoot Heritage Plaza, 2k WAMU Theater shows, VIP events Muckleshoot Heritage Plaza Concerts)

• Helps to manage ticket operations for ‘lifestyle’ events in the Lumen Field North Plaza, WAMU Theater, and Lumen Field Event Center. These can be unique events that require a close venue-client relationship from start to finish.
• Responsible for full prep of box office spaces and teardown on event day. This includes: readying workstations, managing scanners (both entry pedestal and suite doors), updating window signage, and assisting in financial settlements as needed post-event
• Manage the general customer service email. Provides exceptional service to fans with ticketing issues, refund requests, Seahawks app questions, and general inquiries into the customer service line
• Assist in fulfillment of internal complimentary ticket requests, internal ticket orders, or show guest(s)/pass lists
• Serve as the box office ‘gate captain’ on major stadium event days to assist guest services staff and fans with customer service issues, troubleshoot ingress pedestal scanners, and troubleshoot suite entry scanners
• Assists the ticket operations team in training guest services part time staff on our ticket scanners and roleplays event-day issues with these staff members to give them the knowledge to handle any issue on event day.
• Create and provides necessary ticketing resources and training materials to both part-time staffs in the box office and guest services
• Keep online Box Office resource files organized and updated with information on show builds, event maps, special client needs, client ticket orders, and settlement documents
• Perform in a management role as Box Office / Ticket Operations manager when both managers are not present during events
• Assist in the general daily box office operations. This includes assisting sellers and other staff with questions and concerns related to events or customers
• Maintain an organized and clean box office space
• Support relationships with Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC and OL Reign organizations
