REI Co-op is seeking a Venture Fellow to support its venture capital arm - Path Ahead Ventures. This is an exciting opportunity to work on strategic investments that support REI’s business and impact goals and help drive significant impact in the outdoor industry.

This is a part time role (5-10 hours/week) and will run for the Spring semester + will be remote.

• Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of early-stage investment opportunities.

• Implement administrative systems and procedures
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of patient care
• Assist Nurses with completion of Patient Checklists
• Monitor patient charts for completion and accuracy including entering labs
• Ensure insurance/financial information has been received and patient is financially cleared
• Utilize EMR to make sure all required labs, tests, clearances and procedures have been done and that appropriate progress notes have been recorded or records uploaded to patient’s file.
• Confirm labs are back and entered in patient’s file
• Make sure the appropriate consent(s) have been signed and are in patient file
• Ensure genetic testing and counseling has been completed. Follow-up on results/reports.
• Work with the other multidisciplinary teams to coordinate total patient care
• Cover Clinical Assistant duties as needed
• Initiate Prior Authorization with insurance companies for procedure.
• Triage patient inquiries & provide patients with high level of customer service.
• Must be able to work some holidays and weekends.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma acceptable with appropriate hands-on experience; Associate Degree and/or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a multi-physician practice (three or more physicians) with proven work experience in both clinical and administrative areas; Women’s Health preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement required
• An understanding of physicians’, nurses’ and patients’ motivations and concerns with a sensitivity to their needs

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. Position Overview
• Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, development, QA, implementation
• Lead a team of developers and develop, modernize, and make enhancements to an existing application or new enterprise microservice applications
• Utilizing open-source platforms, tools, databases, front-end frameworks, and middleware.
• Evaluate, test, and manage configuration that support the software development process
• Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in planning and engineering of the organization’s databases
• Provide deployment support by deploying code, static files, and/or databases by request to the staging environment and syncing static files and databases among environments
• Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
• Developing application codes and unit tests in AngularJS, Java Technologies, and Rest Web Services.
• Interface with federal technical customers and ensuring high performance of applications.
• Other similar professional duties assigned as needed

Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in open-source web development and in 2 or more frameworks or programming languages – Angular, React, Javascript, jQuery, or Node.js
• At least 5 years of experience with JSON, AJAX, XML\XSLT, HTTP, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, CSS3
• At least 3 years of experience in relational database development preferably using SQL Server 2012 or T-SQL Programming (e.g. Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, etc.)
• Experience with Microservices applications architecture and in leading technical teams.
• Experience building applications using Java, Spring boot, JSON, and JavaScript and cloud technologies including AWS
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/Github and experience with Databases such as Oracle 12c, Oracle 18c, and PostgreSQL
• Ready to embrace a fast-paced work environment with deadlines and new challenges
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline and experience in Test driven and Behavior Driven development frameworks
• Ability to thrive as a member of a highly motivated Agile team
• Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices in a consulting environment is a plus

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline
• An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 3 years of experience.
