Working with a growing team of in-house producers and freelancers, you will help shepherd the production of existing video series content and work on developing new pilots and concepts with our team.

This is a remote position and motion graphics experience is preferred.

What You’ll Do
• Create and edit new food both long-form as well as short-form vertical content on Weird History Food
• Manage and execute the video editing process
• Manage video projects from concept through production to final delivery
• Design and create graphics as well as animations
• Tell engaging stories using different creative elements
• Be the go-to person for troubleshooting workflows, rendering or export problems

What You'll Need
• 2+ years as an editor in a professional post-production environment
• 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and creating videos consistently across platforms.
• 2+ years of post-production experience in a production company or studio environment
• Expert in Adobe Premiere CC
• Highly proficient in After Effects
• A strong eye for detail and design
• Be a huge fan of food and food history. We want people who are knowledgeable and passionate about a diverse array of topics within food and food history.
• Ability to work in all HD, UHD, and digital video formats including all variations of compression formats and their different uses in the production environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Possess a strong sense of story and rhythm, color grading, music and audio, and good communication

VP or Director of Programmatic Sales Development (title commensurate with experience)

Ranker is looking for a highly self-motivated and talented Programmatic leader to join our team. Ranker has been profitable since 2016 and has built a healthy and mature Programmatic business. You will be the gas poured onto this existing fire. Our VP/Director will be responsible for developing and executing the strategies designed to Increase revenue from our Programmatic business with current and new clients. This is a client/brand facing role, ultimately fostering relationships and pitching Ranker's Programmatic solution .

What This Role Entails:
• Lead all activities related to increase programmatic revenue and with programmatic partners and brands
• Work with senior leadership, sales and tech to define and execute Ranker's programmatic go to market strategy
• Responsible for building and maintaining strong external relationships with appropriate clients, vendors, and agency partners
• Responsible for understanding Rankers current programmatic stack and work with the programmatic ops team to optimize across partners and platforms
• Lead Ranker offerings and provide thought leadership in the Programmatic space, both internally and externally
• Evaluate, develop and optimize current and future client spending with Ranker
• Initiate partnerships, build relationships, and evaluate leading programmatic suppliers
• Develop best practices and input on programmatic campaign planning and management
• Represent the organization in public forums as a key leader for Programmatic, as appropriate
• Collaborate with our direct sales team to help customers achieve their business objectives while generating revenue for Ranker
• Serve as a core contributor to client-focused strategic initiatives; articulating departmental and corporate views related to customer segmentation, media tactics, and execution; and, ensuring proposed Programmatic media strategies and tactics align with agreed upon objectives
• Lead Thought Leadership efforts by authoring and reviewing Programmatic related POVs, Case Studies and insights based on industry updates, trends and findings

What You'll Need:
• 5-10+ years' experience managing Programmatic clients and partners with a Publisher, Demand Side Platform or Supply-Side Platform
• Knowledge of programmatic sales and associated metrics
• Deeply versed in the planning, buying, and evaluation of Programmatic platforms, suppliers, and strategies, including interaction with leading DSPs and SSPs
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong quantitative analysis skills
• Ability to create, grow and expand relationships with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrable passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to make recommendations of statistically significant data sets
• Strong business and leadership skills to make independent decisions affecting the daily operations and management of campaigns
