The Proposal Analyst takes responsibility for the entire proposal process from RFP receipt to high-quality proposal creation... and delivery in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

The Proposal Analyst will work closely with team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Development, and other key staff to develop and deliver high-quality, compelling proposals.

In addition to writing, the Proposal Analyst is responsible for project managing bid assignments, which includes facilitating bid kickoffs, managing the bid schedule, and performing related tasks.

Education and Experience:
• BA or BS, preferably in English, Journalism, or Business or similar degree
• 2 to 4 years proposal writing or similar experience
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word and moderate proficiency with other Office suite products. Knowledge of PDF software and LucidChart a plus.

40% Proposal Response Development
• Review RFP in detail and identify mandatory business requirements
• Draft and submit RFP questions to procurement officers
• Write new text or customize existing text for proposal responses
• Ensure all aspects of RFP are addressed with pertinent SMEs
• Accurately incorporate all edits from reviewers
• Ensure 100% accurate and clear cost proposal/forms
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements
• Work with the Proposal Coordinator to complete production tasks to compile finalized proposal packages, including appendices as needed
• Guarantee successful delivery of superior quality proposals on time
• Follow RFP submission requirements accurately
• Support Best and Final Offer submissions

40% Bid Management and Meeting Facilitation
• Create and manage the bid schedule
• Schedule, facilitate, and actively participate in bid kickoff meetings, bid strategy meetings, and pricing review meetings
• Prepare administrative documents to guide bid production
• Create database entries to track bid details for reporting
• Track procurement sites for bid amendments/Q&A and distribute information
• Work with the legal team to complete the legal review for each bid

20% Other proposal support tasks
• Proofread and edit proposal drafts as needed
• Monitor state procurement sites for incoming RFPs
• Other proposal support as assigned, including boilerplate text updates

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

Minimum full-time salary range is between $65,000 - $75,000.

Position Summary:

Working as a member of the Performance Marketing team, the Senior Analyst, Performance Media will assist the Media team, managing effective marketing programs to acquire new families across all lines of business at Pearson’s Virtual Schools division. The person in this position should have full-funnel strategy experience in all stages of the funnel (upper, middle and lower). This includes awareness, consideration and direct response lead generation marketing, including but not limited to TV, OTT, OLV, Paid social, Display, Paid Search and programmatic channels. In addition, the Senior Analyst – Performance Media should have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and internal and external marketing resources, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and analyzing and reporting on performance. This key team member should be a high energy, self-starter with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to impact performance across the entire marketing funnel.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with the Performance Media team, internal analytics team and external agencies to define and implement campaigns to drive key business metrics such as brand health metrics, reach/frequency, leads, applications and enrollments
• Assist with paid acquisition strategy for all lines of business including defining channel and messaging strategy, and ongoing campaign management and performance
• Assist with budget tracking, invoicing and reconciliation, to ensure all online marketing efforts are completed within the allocated budget as cost-effectively as possible
• Proactively identify new opportunities for optimizations and testing across paid campaigns and landing pages
• Partner with external agency to structure, launch and manage campaigns using a mix of Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, and other third-party advertising platforms including oversight of ongoing optimizations and testing
• Assist team members with performance updates, track all paid acquisitions programs with analytics team to ensure full understanding of performance against goals throughout the year and report out on regular basis
• Proactively work with our external agency and internal creative team to produce effective channel specific creative assets and ensure we meet all deadlines in the campaign development schedule
• Assist with ensuring all campaigns deployed are tagged correctly to track leads and ROI in Google Analytics and that data collected from paid marketing efforts is integrated with Salesforce

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 3 years of advertising experience, including tv, ott, olv, search, social media, display and/or programmatic advertising
• Experience with running lead generation focused online marketing programs (desktop and mobile), prioritizing, and organizing effectively
• In-depth understanding of online marketing best practices and social media/display platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Ad Words, Bing Ads, Google Discovery, GDA, and other programmatic partners
• Proficient in MS Excel - running and creating functions, pivot tables, and charts

Recruiting

• Create high quality job descriptions and implement a posting and recruitment strategy for each role;
• Maintain external job board relationships;
• Recruit and source candidates for open school positions;
• Evaluate resumes and HireVue on-demand interviews to recommend for hiring;
• Host Question & Answer session for prospective applicants;
• Process internal application IAs;
• Develop interview questions for first, second and final round interviews; and
• Provide interview strategies, tools and training to hiring managers;

Communication/Customer Support

Purpose Summary

Purpose Summary

The Leave Specialist supports school staff with the review, approval, and processing of all leave of absence and accommodation requests.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities
• Manage Leaves of Absence for all school staff, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, military leave, and unpaid leave.
• Conduct intake meetings, as needed, advising staff of process and benefits available, manage all aspects of the leave and employee return to work and manage stakeholder communications.

• Educate employees and managers on the LOA, Worker's Compensation and/or ADA interactive process and act as a primary contact to the employee and manager.
• Manage the relationship with the disability claims vendor and ensure all communications are effective and timely.
• Monitor claims status and perform necessary follow-up with the firm’s third-party leave administrator for disability, parental and family leaves.
• Work collaboratively with vendor to understand state leave plans and potential coordination with Connections plans.
