Job Summary/Objective...

Leads the Project Management Implementation Team which includes various roles such as project managers, business consultants, and technical consultants. Maintains responsibility for managing the implementation profitability and department’s budget. Supports the development of the Professional Services organization within OEC and ensures best practices are implemented on all projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)
• Works closely with the Business Unit Leader and Professional Services Organization (PSO) Leadership to determine what is required to manage the team and oversee client projects including achievement of professional services Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project delivery
• Leads and guides the Implementation Team to accomplish objectives by setting team goals, priorities and expectations. Monitors and evaluates performance, and ensures timely completion of deliverables. Promotes the professional growth of team members. Plans and executes engagement and culture building activities
• Works with the sales team to assist with scoping discussions, creating estimates / timelines and creation of implementation Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Participates in review of bookings, resource usage and constraints, in order to anticipate demand. Assigns resources to projects and billable work in alignment of utilization targets
• Identifies areas for improvement, develops and executes solutions to improve in areas including operations, documentation, utilization and customer satisfaction
• Hires, onboards, and mentors new team members, and ensures new employees have the resources needed and is ready to engage in project work
• Provides management support for customer escalations to drive suitable issue resolution
• Serves as a customer advocate and ensures the provision of services that builds long-term relationships between OEC and the customers
• Maintains responsibility for department budgeting including staffing level recommendations based on sales projections. Ensures project profitability based on signed SOW and staff assignments and utilization
• Supports creation of Professional Services global best practices and drives adoption throughout the team

Education

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Business Management, Information Technology, Operations Management or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

At least 5 years’ experience as a project manager or business consultant working in a service organization, with a background in managing:
• Time and Materials and Fixed Fee projects
• A strong understanding of financial metrics associated with Services Delivery (Utilization, Margin, Delivery Efficiency, etc.)
• A proven track record of delivering customer value through software and consulting implementations, and at least 3 years of management experience with responsibility for leading a team of direct reports

Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and create an engaging and positive culture that motivates and inspires others to do great work
• A customer focused mindset, delivering customer results and exceptional service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to a specific audience or subject matter
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
• Engaging presentation skills and can present information in an easy-to-understand manner, and with a variety of audiences, to include Senior Leadership as well as project related workshops.

• Ability to use (or learn to use) Microsoft Office 365, Smartsheet, Miro, and Azure DevOps

Experience specific to Retail Inventory Management (RIM) SaaS would be helpful.
