The Manager of Construction PMO is responsible for the leading and managing a team of Project Managers, Project Specialist and/or Project Coordinators. The primary and foundational responsibility of this Construction PMO team is SOW interpretation, SOW communication, work breakdown, schedule creation, resource management, budget management, project monitoring, and project KPI reporting on all commercial and/or residential projects assigned to the team. The Manager of Construction PMO would be responsible for resolving significant projects issues, monitor and drive KPI metrics, mitigating project risks, ensuring accurate and timely project reporting, overseeing and driving escalations as needed and anything else that might be needed to ensure we are satisfying all critical stakeholder’s expectations and goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Oversee, coach, train, equip, manage, and lead several Project Managers who have responsibility for their assigned project SOW, budgets, schedules, and resources to successfully meet critical stakeholder expectations and goals
• Identify and acquire resources needed for the project(s).
• Ensure project(s) SOW, budget, and schedule align with business goals.
• Ability to interpret, inquire when questions arise, and communicate a project’s SOW to stakeholders
• Coach, review and assist in project documentation for project creation, development, and implementation
• Track and oversee the progress of each project assigned to team.
• Develop project workflows and/or operating procedures for various project categories
• Analyze financial data and act on it according to the results
• Participate and/or provide oversight and approval for financial ROI decisions
• Calculate and analyze the monetary risk for a project
• Review and approve/reject purchases orders, purchase requisitions, invoices, etc. via Oracle workflow.
• Prepare and present reports for senior managers and stakeholders as required
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Communicate requirements and specifications to team members and/or project stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives for efficiency and effectiveness within team via resource placement, processes, and tools.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
• All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• BS/BA degree in business, administration, or related field preferred and/or equivalent relevant experience preferred
• 3 years’ experience in Project Management required with experience leading/coaching/mentoring associates highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Telecom construction and engineering industry required
• Documented experience with project budget creation and management, project scheduling and tracking, project finance, cost reporting, and field office operations
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
• Familiarity with a variety of mapping, GIS and CAD drafting programs and products.
• Ability to Work with Google Earth KMZ’s and KML’s.
• Ability and comfort putting together project estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Ability to comprehend, create, and deploy complex fiber construction solutions to accomplish strategic company objectives

Our Contract Administrators are a huge part of our continued growth and expansion. This team is responsible for creating design estimate, creating work orders, and other contract documents needed for the construction of our fiber network. Additionally, our Contract Administrators create purchase requisitions and track the status of each transaction in a database to ensure that deadlines are met and contracts are moving through the approval process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Using design documents, create work orders and issue them to contractors for execution.
• Interact with project teams regarding work order requirements.
• Assist with developing construction cost estimates.
• Create purchase requisitions in Oracle.
• Create change order requisitions in Oracle.
• Issue PO numbers to each work order.
• Ensure work orders are fully executed and filed properly.
• Maintain and manage database used to track the status of each work order.
• Setup work orders into the Production Tracker database.
• Setup work orders into the Elixir System.
• Assist contractors when they encountered issues using the production tracker.
• Assist with developing and drafting processes and procedures necessary to maintain efficient operations.
• Assist Project Controls Director with assigned duties
• All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree in accounting preferred but not required
• Strong skills using Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
