What You Will Do
• Drive the strategy, execution, and delivery for all aspects of SEO for Story by J.P. Morgan (Story.JPMorgan.com) in order to increase lead generation from organic search, decrease customer acquisition cost and improve brand awareness/product consideration.
• Work closely with product teams to optimize all aspects of site structure to help increase discovery and indexing.
• Lead link building strategy, coordinating with marketers in the Commercial Bank, Commercial Real Estate and other stakeholders in the bank.
• Partner closely with Content, Product, Legal/Compliance and Marketing teams to set an SEO content strategy and see projects through execution, distribution and optimization
• Serve as a thought leader for all things SEO and represent Story in firmwide SEO initiatives
• Manage organic search KPIs that connect to business goals and provide regular analysis and reporting into the impact of organic search and progress vs. competition.
• Be a leader beyond your role, a change maker & thought leader in the JPMC CRE community. Apply creative problem solving and analytic skills to provide ongoing insight into the business and make recommendations and decisions

What We Are Looking For
• 7+ years of experience in search engine optimization and well versed in all aspects of SEO, content development and link building.
• Experience building SEO infrastructure/processes from the ground, preferably at a B2B or B2C SaaS or Marketplace.
• Ability to work with legal, compliance and business partners to ensure content and tactics have appropriate controls and brand safety.
• Financial services experience a plus, but not required
• Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to operate at both strategic levels and to manage tactical execution with a strong sense of teamwork, collaboration and consensus building
• Outstanding organizational, project management, people, and communication skills, including strong writing abilities and proven experience communicating key value messages to a variety of audiences both internal and external.
• Ability to prioritize, problem solve, multitask, and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace with a bias towards action.
• Strong proficiency in sourcing and analyzing the data needed to make effective SEO optimization as well as a high comfort level in operating with and making decisions with partial information.
