The Global... Logistics Co-Op student operates under the close supervision of a Senior Analyst or Manager. The Co-Op will gain exposure to a dynamic business environment where the individual will be able to apply classroom skills to real life supply chain situations. The overall experience will increase the students’ knowledge of the global supply chain of a consumer product. The Global Logistics Department has an extensive network of partners that support the various subgroups of the Department. The Co-Op will be involved in the continuous interaction and coordination among internal and external stakeholders including Transportation providers for Domestic and International shipments, Customs Brokers, Vendors, Booking Agents, Affiliate Markets and Warehouses, globally. As part of the Transportation and Warehousing Teams, Global and U.S. Domestic Transposition roles and responsibilities include analyzing shipment data, performing mode/carrier selection, container utilization, shipment tracking and the measurement of carrier performance. The team is responsible for ensuring that Hasbro is compliant with all applicable transportation laws and regulations. Working within SAP and Oracle Transportation Management the Co-Op manages transportation activity from planning to execution. The team is responsible for all U.S. ground transportation and works closely with trucking providers and domestic customers to ensure on-time delivery. The team works cross-functionally with U.S. Warehouses, Account Support and Customer Compliance to investigate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions on domestic shipments. As part of the Global Trade Compliance Team responsible for the adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations the Co-Op helps to classify Hasbro products under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and issues U.S. Certificates of Origin for qualifying shipments to Affiliate markets. The team analyzes and tracks global duty spend and utilization of Free Trade Agreements. They work cross-functionally with Hasbro brand teams, as well as global commercial markets and their corresponding customs brokers to ensure global partners are in compliance with Hasbro policies & procedures.
Education:
• Working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or similar.
• Relevant supply chain or business internship experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:

We are seeking to add a Director North America Fulfillment to play an integral role in our Global Fulfillment Organization! This role is responsible for driving, developing, implementing, and managing the warehouse operations and managing supply chain activities associated with the support of Customer orders and Compliance, Transportation planning, Trade Marketing, Rework, Value Added Services and Return Materials projects and initiatives.
A day in the life of a Director North America Fulfillment:
• Lead the development and implementation of specialized logistics projects and other change management areas.
• Implement and/or leverage programs and platforms to simplify, improve processes, and continuously enable productivity across NA logistics operations.
• Ensure Hasbro is compliant with monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory requirements; leading team efforts through partnering with Internal Audit, KPMG, QA and 3PLS as well as other key teams.
• Lead team efforts to develop relationships with strategic partners and 3PL’s which standardize processes and provide a reliable, responsive, and cost-efficient supply chain supporting Hasbro’s U.S. commercial business efforts.
• Collaborate with Hasbro Affiliate markets to evaluate and implement opportunities to streamline and standardize U.S. and Canada warehouse best practices.
• Lead activities associated with inventory for Logistics and identify cost savings & operational efficiency opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in in Supply Chain and/or Business.
• 10+ years’ experience within supply chain operations required.
• Proven track record of building partner relationships; influencing, negotiating, and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to pioneer new ideas and create new solutions for processes.
• Experience with and aptitude for levering processes and data platforms to solve business needs/problems.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to clearly convey relevant information to a broad spectrum of audiences.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP, Ryder, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.
