As a Senior Design Lead on our Seller Advertising Experience team, you will help craft the future of this critical and foundational eCommerce touchpoint, working side-by-side with leaders from other disciplines to improve the end-to-end advertising experience for eBay Sellers. We will depend on you to build meaningful, collaborative relationships with our product and engineering partners, with a focus on craft of execution, creating innovative and intuitive solutions for our customers and tackling eBay’s more grueling challenges through product discovery and design thinking.

Responsibilities:
• Create world-class, user-centered designs that solve for customer needs, deliver on business requirements, account for technical feasibility and leverage future trends
• Contribute to the Creative Direction and work with design leaders to ensure a cohesive user-experience across the product portfolio
• Help lead product discovery activities and collaborate on the future direction of the product with peers, researchers, design leaders, product partners, engineers and executives

Requirements:
• Degree in interaction design, HCI, industrial design, graphic design, visual communications or equivalent and 10+ years of professional experience in Product Design
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating a broad range of product design work across web-based applications, consumer experiences and mobile devices
• Experience driving product design for end-to-end projects and a strong understanding of user-centered design processes in agile, cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience in new product and concept development, including generative research, storyboarding, user-journey mapping, competitive analysis, prototyping, qualitative interviews and quantitative testing
• Ability to synthesize together industry trends, internal and third-party research, team insights, business priorities and stakeholder feedback into actionable UX strategy and design priorities

• Ensuring Trust is effectively supporting and enabling the strategies of our global business.
Key Responsibilities:

Protecting our sellers from bad acting buyers
• Refining our policies to minimize the potential for abuse and identifying strategic areas where eBay will invest to protect sellers from abuse
• Partner with our Data Science team and third parties to develop predictive capabilities to identify individuals at risk of abusing sellers on our platform through virtual shoplifting, return policy violations or policy gaming
• Architecting product changes to prevent these bad acting behaviors and working through the annual planning process to get them prioritized

What we need:

• 4+ years sanctions or AML compliance work experience;

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic and pressurized environment while staying highly organized;
• Commercial outlook with a can-do attitude and be a standout colleague with excellent interpersonal skills;

We are looking to hire a Senior Manager of Product Strategy, Operations & Analytics, located in the San Francisco Bay area, who will support the eBay Motors leadership team and play an instrumental role in accelerating growth across the Motors’ portfolio of assets. The role will be at the forefront of shaping and driving strategy, while ensuring operational excellence in planning, analytics, reporting, and collaboration across a broad cross-functional team. Responsibilities
• Serve as strategic thought leader to the Motors leadership team
• Build and own executive-ready presentations on Motors strategy and operational updates
• Identify and executive against opportunities across Motors that require strategic deep dives
• Drive progress against milestones for key strategic initiatives
• Create operational consistency and alignment across the portfolio
• Own tracking and reporting of portfolio health to eBay global leadership teams
• Partner with GMs and Category Managers to manage key budget decisions and impact on P&L
• Establish processes and guardrails to ensure operational success in Motors
• Enable market intelligence capabilities to monitor competitive insights, industry trends, and distill Motors-specific implications

Qualifications
• Track record of strategic leadership, structured thinking, and ability to prioritize against multiple initiatives

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Navigation Intelligence to help build out the roadmap for data and data science products that drive the experience of how buyers navigate eBay’s site and inventory – the data and intelligence for browsing categories, filtering and refining inventory on category landing pages in the most intuitive and optimal way.

Responsibilities:
• Understand how to connect user research to buyer needs, and define the set of user requirements for the data and intelligence to deliver a better browsing and navigation experience for buyers on eBay
• Drive and maintain the navigation data science product roadmap including defining requirements of new features/products while continuing to improve and optimize existing features/products
• Lead the data driven linking and navigation strategy across landing pages to help users get to the right page and inventory quicker.
• Optimize linking and navigation scenarios for both SEO performance and buyer experience as well as optimize the landing page content including navigational elements, ranking of items, text and image elements
• Work directly with the analysts, data scientists and ML engineers involved in technical discussions leading to the best solutions, review preliminary results to identify issues preemptively
• Partner with stakeholders both within and outside of the SEO, Site Navigation, and Browse teams

Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in a Product Management role + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related experience
• Experience working in ML science and big-data domains especially background/experience in statistical modeling and machine learning
• Data driven and goals-oriented product leader with track record of execution and delivery who has experience identifying opportunities that deliver impact with a good understanding of data science technologies and how they can be applied to solve user and business problems
