As a Senior Design Lead on our Seller Advertising Experience team, you will help craft the future of this critical and foundational eCommerce touchpoint, working side-by-side with leaders from other disciplines to improve the end-to-end advertising experience for eBay Sellers. Responsibilities:
• Create world-class, user-centered designs that solve for customer needs, deliver on business requirements, account for technical feasibility and leverage future trends
• Contribute to the Creative Direction and work with design leaders to ensure a cohesive user-experience across the product portfolio
• Help lead product discovery activities and collaborate on the future direction of the product with peers, researchers, design leaders, product partners, engineers and executives
• Develop conceptual diagrams, information architecture maps, wireframes, visual mockups, lightweight specifications, prototypes and product demos that capture the team’s shared understanding and document solutions to bring to market

Requirements:

• Experience driving product design for end-to-end projects and a strong understanding of user-centered design processes in agile, cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience in new product and concept development, including generative research, storyboarding, user-journey mapping, competitive analysis, prototyping, qualitative interviews and quantitative testing

About the role:

At eBay, Trust is a critical global function tasked with ensuring the safety of the millions of buyers and sellers on the eBay marketplace. This includes developing best in class detection & prevention systems and protection policies to shield customers from those who attempt to commit fraud on our platform.

eBay’s Trust team is fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive. In this role, you will focus on three key areas:
• Improving the buyer and seller experience across the safety measures the Trust team puts in place: that means ensuring that the end-to-end experience and tools the team uses to prevent bad actors from causing issues have a minimal impact and are clear and easy for our good customers to navigate protecting our sellers from the experience of bad acting buyers, which includes detection and prevention of scams, return policy violations and any form of virtual shoplifting.
• This role will partner closely with key leaders in Category, Product and Risk teams across the company to inspire and earn the trust of our buyers and sellers.
• Ensuring Trust is effectively supporting and enabling the strategies of our global business.
Key Responsibilities:

Protecting our sellers from bad acting buyers
• Refining our policies to minimize the potential for abuse and identifying strategic areas where eBay will invest to protect sellers from abuse
• Partner with our Data Science team and third parties to develop predictive capabilities to identify individuals at risk of abusing sellers on our platform through virtual shoplifting, return policy violations or policy gaming
• Architecting product changes to prevent these bad acting behaviors and working through the annual planning process to get them prioritized
Influencing senior leaders
• Develop fact-based cases for initiatives you have identified as impactful for our customers
• Build and deliver high impact analysis and presentations to secure approval and/or resources from senior Business, Product and Risk and Protections leaders
• Participate in regular forums with leaders across the company to review the progress, plans and impact of initiatives
What we need:

We are looking for a results-oriented individual who will have end-to-end ownership of critical initiatives globally and be accountable to hit ambitious targets. You will also be analytical and fact-based in your decision making. The ideal candidate will have:

The Sanctions compliance team at eBay Commerce Inc. (eCI) is seeking a Sanctions Compliance Specialist. • Identify, interdict, escalate, and maintain records pertaining to any activity prohibited by OFAC's regulations;

• Navigate through complex data, including internal and external research, in order to provide critical information in a well-documented research file;

• Assist with governance, operational, and administrative matters.
Candidates must have:
• 4+ years sanctions or AML compliance work experience;
• Experience with relevant regulatory data sources, regulatory compliance;
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic and pressurized environment while staying highly organized;
• Commercial outlook with a can-do attitude and be a standout colleague with excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work on confidential and sensitive matters with a high degree of professionalism and discretion;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
