Responsibilities
• Work with large volumes of player behavioral data, delivering insights and developing models that meaningfully inform game design, feature prioritization, and product development.
• Provide support to the Maxis Analytics team with understanding and tracking key game performance metrics such as acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization.
• Help with our data team's strategy of building and productionalizing data products that improve the player experience.
• Evaluate the impact/success of live service events, content updates and marketing campaigns. Establish benchmarks and provide projections during the planning phases; perform analysis to inform retrospectives; make recommendations for feature and content improvement.
• Identify new opportunities to improve the player experience, improve acquisition, and increase incremental revenue through data analysis.
• Influence decisions and product strategy through fact-based, data-driven insights and analysis
Qualifications
• Experience with SQL and Python, and/or R
• Experience with predictive modeling
• Demonstrated excellence with data analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• You must be a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year undergraduate student to be considered

You will report to a Development Director on the Quality Verification team. You will embed within the Development organization, improving QV practices across the team and collaborating with our Quality Engineering and Quality Verification & Standards, Analytics teams to create a robust testing strategy.
Responsibilities
• You will work directly with Quality Engineer and Data Analyst team members to provide a comprehensive testing strategy through automated tests and data implementation.
• You will partner with senior development, production, and design to ensure that we create high-quality features from both a functional and qualitative perspective.
• You can expect to partner with production to improve feature quality through establishing feedback processes and explaining applicable suggestions on how the features could be improved for our players.
• You will identify risks to the feature and overall project as early as possible, partnering with the development and other partner teams to help determine mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
• You are proficient in Google Suite or MS Office apps
• You are technically minded and have an interest in learning practical coding skills
• You have some familiarity or desire to work with Unreal or Unity Engines
• You have an understanding of creating and/or maintaining documentation

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to multiple analytics projects geared to influence game, product, and economy design
• Perform advanced analysis on massive gameplay datasets
• You will gain experience extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing massive amounts of raw telemetry data across several platforms and regions
• Leverage game knowledge to propose and execute novel analyses

Qualifications:
