About the position
This is a locally engaged staff position at an overseas Australian Diplomatic Mission.
Under general direction, the Family Support Officer (FSO) is responsible for personnel administration and facilitating policy and coordination services for members of the Australian Defence Organisation (ADO) and their recognised dependants on long-term postings to the USA.
The EFSO’s primary role is to provide welfare oversight, facilitate healthcare and special needs support to ADO members and their recognised dependants administered by Australian Defence Staff (Washington) (ADS (W)).
