As a Cruise Director, you will assist Entertainment Managers in ensuring the designated job duties are always completed correctly and promptly according to our company standards, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Oversees the monitoring and resolution of all issues that affect the Entertainment product and the passengers' cruise experience.; Regularly interacts with passengers and ensures excellent delivery of the entertainment experience during embarkation, disembarkation, and tender operations to delight and serve every passenger.; Delivers consistently on all Entertainment products, including Youth and Teens, Passenger Programs, Onboard Media, Enrichment Programs, Production Services, Music Services, Guest Entertainers, and Creative Entertainment.; Regularly oversees the Activities, assignments, and projects of shipboard Entertainment managers. ; Plans the daily events schedules with Customer Service Director to maximize passengers' access to and awareness of all activates available onboard, including entertainment and revenue/nonrevenue events.; Identifies and implements the most effective way to communicate all promotions.; Conducts regular staff meetings with Entertainment managers to communicate policies, discuss issues, and coordinate solutions.; Reviews strategies to find cost efficiencies, monitors operation standards, manning levels, rotations, etc. to identify cost-saving opportunities without adversely affecting product standards.; Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

You must have at least 5 years experience hosting events, activities, shows or theatrical performances. This does not mean part of the ensemble, this means the front person, the main event, "everybody look at me", kind of experience. Your stage style must be confident yet charming, charismatic and energetic. Your delivery must be controlled, natural and easy to watch yet engaging, funny and lovable. No easy task, we know.; We need to see what you look like in detail so a head shot is key to selling your brand to us. It doesn't need to be taken by a professional but it does need to be a great representation of what you honestly look like. In short, when you look at your photo you must be thinking, Yes! As a Rooms Division Supervisor, you will be supporting the Rooms Division Manager in ensuring the designated job duties are always completed correctly and promptly according to our company standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensures that Company and Public Health standards of housekeeping, sanitation, maintenance, and related services in guests and teammates public areas as well as guests and officers' staterooms are always upheld.
• Co-owns and monitors the Housekeeping performance through the Quality Assurance strategy and company issued standards.
• Performs daily inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness, sanitization, presentation and timely readiness of guest and teammate public areas.
• Drives and optimizes the use of OCEAN Hospitality and GuestView Housekeeping tools to ensure personnel deliver a truly personalized service to guests.
• Accountable for the Housekeeping operation in guest and teammate public areas as well as guests and officers' rooms, including problem resolution and all Service Excellence related guest inquiries.
• Regularly monitors guest feedback, Service Excellence platform and OBE information to identify trends that might compromise the guest experience.

• Identifies and communicates furnishing requirements to the Assistant Rooms Division Manager (for guest and teammate public areas) and Rooms Division Manager (for officer and guest rooms).
• Consistently exceeds the Housekeeping defined targets, by driving a personalized guest and teammate centric & experience culture, reducing friction points and mitigating negative surprises.
• Ensures utilization of Princess MedallionClass products, services and applications to drive engagement in delivering a guest and teammates centric experience.
• Enforces accountability and ownership of the Service Excellence platform and philosophy.
• Responsible for guest satisfaction, supporting the teams to provide timely, effective, and personalized resolutions, while driving down ship specific post cruise complaints.
• Partners closely with the Rooms Division Manager, Assistant Rooms Division Manager and other shipboard leaders to capture best practices and shares insights on operational efficiencies.
• Minimum two (2) years of Housekeeping work experience in a Supervisory role in a comparable premium hospitality environment.

As Cruise’s business continues to scale rapidly, building a stable, scalable, flexible, cost-efficient, and reliable foundation is critical. This role will specifically work on the multi-sensor system services and frameworks in collaboration with our partner teams across Cruise.

What you'll be doing:
• Collaborate with hardware, systems engineering, program management, product management and peer software teams to develop critical reliability software features for the autonomous vehicle. Includes: developing and debugging of application and middleware software for existing and next generation sensing data pipelines on the vehicle
• Root-cause analysis of complex problems involving multiple cross-functional partners, including hardware and software
• Identify reliability issue trends, provide clear guidance on reliability requirements, develop reliability design guidelines, and apply lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
• Design and implement shared infrastructure and tooling among the Sensing System Software teams to monitor and analyze embedded software and data quality metrics. Identify opportunities to unify approaches, improve reliability and increase developer velocity
• Own the development quality and ensure the solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for customer experience and performance. Raise the bar on engineering excellence by producing best-in-class code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to architect and implement embedded software observability and monitoring solutions
• Work with the engineering teams to architect and build services to simplify troubleshooting and operational response to incidents and Autonomous Vehicles fleet outages
• Own technical projects, participate in design reviews and provide input for the reliability section of others design reviews
• Ensure efficiency of the vehicle change process involving embedded software changes and dependencies
• Participate in on-call rotation
• High focus on collecting and inferring metric documentation to be used by others to build and maintain systems
• Contribute to the roadmap and software planning activities within the team, helping drive the vision of how the team should evolve
• Guide and mentor developers on the team

What you must have:
• Proven experience writing production software to improve data quality and reliability of safety critical systems
• Proficiency with C++11 or later
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting firmware-related issues
• Experience driving complex embedded software projects through the full lifecycle of product development
• Experience architecting and delivering Embedded Systems solutions that support multiple generations of the product
• Experience engaging in communication at senior management levels and influencing technical strategies
• Experience applying and mentoring team members on software development best practices
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is $170.000 - $250,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change
