About the Team

The Hospitality Experience Team Mission is to Create a world-famous food program & hospitality experience that reflects Canva's values and reinforces a sense of belonging for our community.

We do this through the Communal Table and Food for Change. These are the foundational pillars on which our culture was built on, and we are continuously growing these concepts and philosophies through bringing people together with food and drink.

As we grow we have to keep evolving the we cook and serve food, our drinks offerings, our menu creations, and the way we think about food culturally has to grow and evolve too.

We already have an outstanding team of people and want to continue to grow the core team. We want to be set apart from other companies in the way we run our Hospitality program, how we hire, how we buy food, and how we host the Canvanauts on daily basis. We are not building a service team. We are part of the Canva experience and embedded in its culture from the beginning.

• We need someone that is self-motivated and happy working autonomously but also has good organizational and leadership skills with the ability to train junior staff and maintain high levels of attention to detail, punctuality, and communication skills showing an approachable attitude of continued betterment.
• Because of the rate of phenomenal growth, you must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and possess excellent communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
