Bloomberg Media is seeking an experienced, creative-minded Client Marketer to develop innovative multimedia ideas and presentations for current and prospective clients. YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
• 5+ years of media publisher, marketing or agency experience
• Expertise across media platforms

Our Team

As a part of the Bloomberg Media communications team, you will serve as advisor and counselor to Bloomberg Media executives helping to unite all elements of the brand with coordinated amplification. Your team will also weigh in on enterprise-wide communications strategies helping to ensure that all messaging for Bloomberg Media is aligned with Bloomberg L.P.'s broader corporate narratives.

What's the Role?

You're an experienced communications professional with strong external relationships and a love of news, culture and international affairs who can develop and execute strategic PR plans and stories about Bloomberg Media's brand and business invention. You'll focus most specifically on several year-round event and solutions platforms that help us reach beyond core media industry coverage into mainstream news, business, technology and ESG. This includes leading work on Bloomberg New Economy's flagship annual Forum, its new Catalyst program for groundbreaking entrepreneurs/scientist/innovators and the new Gateway platform debuting in Latin America. You will also play a key role in driving awareness for the Bloomberg Live events brand/business including its Equality Summit, Green (climate) Summit & Green Documentary Festival and other key moments that connect the company to modern global leadership. On any given day you may be responsible for communications with influential press, key partners, VIPs and social media voices to help Bloomberg Media reach new spheres of awareness. You'll work closely and collaboratively with the business and news teams.

The role:

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and coaching technical teams, and influencing third party technology strategy
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study, or equivalent years of work experience
• A detailed understanding of Ad measurement and its workings, including viewability, engagement rates, IVT, and CTR.

• Experience working with consent management platforms (CMPs) to align with data privacy regulations

Salary Range: 200,000 - 300,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

We are looking for a 4-month contractor to support the Global Audience team of the Bloomberg New Economy, engaging with offices are of our delegates and providing 5-star service to our clients, swiftly, thoroughly, and with highest professionalism. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: AUDIENCE LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
• Provide administrative support for audience lead's recruitment efforts
• Troubleshoot forum inquires at the direction of NEF Audience Team Lead
• Maintain and update audience database in Salesforce, specifically focusing on logistics reporting to ensure necessary information for travel is collected from delegate teams
• Coordinate closely with both FinProd, Government and Media sales reps on various channel, building key relationships with these team to stay current with delegates/clients' needs
• Assist with on boarding delegates into the community portal
• Provide exemplary event services for delegates onsite
• Supports follow up assistance after forum including thank you notes, attendee surveys and more
• Be able to interface with all levels of employees and external guests; interact with senior level Forum delegates, government officials and their teams - in person, on the phone, and in correspondence
• Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

YOU NEED TO HAVE:
• Strong problem-solving, strategic and creating thinking, and decision-making ability
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job specs:
• Work with the Bloomberg Live editorial team in New York to conceive and execute editorially-driven panels, interviews and/or presentations for a series of enterprise technology themed events.
• Build and maintain the event series website, collect and post speaker photos and bios; oversee speaker outreach efforts, including researching appropriate speakers for each event; work with Bloomberg journalists and analysts to moderate editorial sessions at the events; and generally oversee all editorial aspects of the event series.
• Ensure that the events you help create are consistent with Bloomberg's editorial mission and standards.You'll need to have:
• A minimum of five years of journalism or equivalent experience
• A proven track record in developing high-concept or buzz-worthy panels, feature stories or television interviews, using top global executives or newsmakers
• Strong knowledge of international business news, particularly in areas of finance and technology
• Open to new commercial models
• A strong external network of newsmakers that can be relied on for ideas, bookings, and expanded relationships
• Creativity and innovation in all formats and concepts
