The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following.
• Supports access to GSK Specialty products for appropriate patients.
• Specialty FRMs are responsible for educating providers on payer coverage, coding and payment policies related to GSK specialty products and helping providers understand GSK Patient Support Programs intended to help appropriate patients access GSK specialty medicines.
• Specialty FRMs routinely interface internally with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors and Specialty Sales professional teams.
• Qualified candidates must possess a demonstrated track record of success working in a matrix environment and must demonstrate effective leadership skills.
• Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
• Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise.
• Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams.
• Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs.
• Support patient access to the products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access.
• This role reports to a Director of Specialty Field Reimbursement.

• Ability to travel up to 60% including overnights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA, MPH or other advanced degree
• In larger geographies the candidate should live within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport
• 6+ years’ experience one or more of the areas including Field Reimbursement or Specialty or Biologics Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided) or Payer Marketing or Patient Support Programs
• Reimbursement experience for immunology, respiratory, or other specialty injected/infused products in a buy and bill setting across all sites of care.
• Knowledge of the payer environment including state, federal, and private third-party; payer reimbursement methodologies; and payer policies for HCP and self-administered drugs.
• Demonstrated experience in customer focus with building relationships, issue identification and resolution, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Evidence of the ability to operate independently and handle multiple projects with a high degree of initiative. Ability to operate successfully as a leader in a matrix environment without direct reports.
• Organized, strategic thinker with excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient department reimbursement environments, regulations, customers, and account-based planning.
• Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy access process.
• Comprehensive understanding of Commercial, Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and state Medicaid reimbursement dynamics.
• Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding regulations.
• Experience working with HUB or reimbursement call centers in support of patient access.

• Collaborate and Coordinate with other key field-based stakeholders such as Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access teammates, and others in their territory to proactively address customer needs, identify market dynamics and trends, develop strategies which support brand and corporate objectives, and ensure optimal account success within their assigned geography.

• Own business opportunities within respective geographic area, which includes coordination and calling upon large group practices and other key targets to drive overall product results.
• Establish relationship with thought leaders in assigned territory. Primary objective is to drive industry leading customer value.

About you

Work Experience:
• A minimum of 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales experience required
• A Minimum of 2 years calling on endocrinologists or PCPs or cardiologists.
• Preferred Account Management Experience or like experience in Medical, Surgical, or complex account selling
• Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
• Experience leading cross functional teams as a team lead or key player
• Valid Driver's License.

Minimum required skills:
• A minimum of 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales experience required
• Demonstrate experience working in cross functional team and stakeholders to drive business solutions and models to sell and engage to customers

Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Critical care nurses specialize in treating critically ill patients in general intensive care units, post-op units, burn units, and other specialized, intensive care units. Most critical care travel positions are in hospitals, but CC RNs can choose from many different subspecialties. Some rehabilitation facilities also use critical care nurses because of their skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes.
