About the Role:

As a Professional Services Consultant specializing in Aptean Ross, you will play a vital role in guiding our clients through the complexities of financial and manufacturing processes within their ERP systems. Your areas of expertise will encompass:
• Provide consulting services to customers based on Aptean’s service delivery methodology and procedures; services engagements may include implementation consulting, upgrade consulting, training, testing, and/or process improvement consulting.
• Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work collaboratively with project manager and project team to deliver projects on time, on budget, on schedule.
• Submit time and expenses punctually each week.
• Maintain a professional appearance when onsite with customers.

About you
• Relevant Experience: 3+ years of experience in ERP consulting, or a similar platform. Experience in Manufacturing and Operations ERP modules is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in ERP systems, including an understanding of system configuration, customization, and integration.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and provide effective solutions within the ERP framework.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in ERP technologies and manufacturing best practices.

About the role

Provide application consulting and support to Aptean customers. Participate as a member of the implementation team to deploy new projects, and/or provide on-going support to their existing installation. • Provide expert solutions to complex customer problems in a timely manner by receiving, clarifying and investigating incidents.
• Take ownership of and follow-through with all priority customer incidents.
• Offer complete and timely explanations to customers throughout the incident resolution process and ensure that customers’ staff fully understand the issue, its resolutions and means for prevention.
• Clearly and concisely document all customer interaction and all steps taken to resolve incidents.
• Observe trends and recommend improvements to product design, documentation or implementation and create necessary enhancement requests.
• Work with R&D and product line team to expedite incident resolution and ensure seamless delivery of support service to customers.
• Determine when issues need to be escalated.
• Set severity levels with customers.
• May be assigned escalated tickets.
• Knowledge Management
• Expand expertise within the product.
• Attend training sessions offered and use self-study tools; assist with peer training as needed.
• Contribute to a customer focused environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolution activity, cross training and an absolute focus on resolving customer incidents as quickly and effectively as possible.
• Create KB articles and documents using the Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) methodology, to be published and shared both internally and with the customer base.
• Communication
• Ensure that all internal and external customer interactions are handled professionally and with the highest level of service, follow-through and consistently keep commitments.

About you

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with at least 2 years of experience.

Aptean is looking for an outstanding Sales Executive to work in our CEP software team selling our market leading solutions, which enable Aptean to be the number one provider of applications in this sector.

The CEP vertical at Aptean is an extremely strategic business unit- this is a vibrant, fast-paced part of the organization, with an emphasis on teamwork, customer success, and collective achievement of goals.

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for managing an assigned set of clients with a focus on converting eligible customers to the Aptean Cloud, whilst maintaining and growing renewal rates. You must also look to drive strategic cross-sell opportunities, establish and maintain good client relationships with a particular focus on retaining customers and identifying opportunities for additional sales of new products, licenses or upsell modules.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage the relationships with influencers & decision makers within customer accounts to promote loyalty and high customer retention.
• Identify opportunities and close deals for SaaS conversions, additional Aptean products, add-on licenses, upsell modules & next version upgrades for existing Aptean customers.
• Identify and manage opportunistic new business situations
• Maintain a thorough understanding of a customer’s business goals and the status of all current projects and issues
• Optimize portfolios, prioritize accounts and create & maintain strategic account plans, quotes and forecasts
• Manage a revenue and bookings quota and participate in frequent forecast reviews of assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate and timely opportunity, customer & contact data
• Facilitate internal communication, including cross-functional transitions, escalations and contracts by engaging appropriate Aptean team members to add value to account
• Maintain good industry, business knowledge and product knowledge as is relevant for assigned accounts
• Coordinate/facilitate technical presentations and participate in customer & marketing events
• Use knowledge of customer needs and industry trends to provide input into product strategy

Penetrates assigned accounts by:
• Driving cloud, added value services and subscription revenues
• Selling new or additional products or services to current buyers
• Finding additional buyers within the existing customer location
• Selling additional customer locations
• Working to develop group-level agreements, aligned to customer’s business goals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Thorough understanding of the customer sales cycle
