Regulatory and legal components... associated with this department require the incumbent to ensure confidentiality and strict adherence to ethical standards, as well as maintain records for the office. The incumbent will have extensive contact with internal- and external-facing stakeholders and will provide excellent quality customer service related to inquiries about CESA, including handling correspondence efficiently and professionally, while following departmental guidelines for answering, directing, and responding to incoming communications. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required. The incumbent must work well with a team, maintain a professional demeanor when responding to inquiries, and be articulate and effective when communicating objectives and goals of the office. The incumbent will provide administrative support for the CESA office, including demonstrated expertise with APA operational systems relevant to the office, such as those associated with Finance, ITS, and quality assurance / data handling. The incumbent must also demonstrate the ability to organize information, be reliable, show initiative in completing tasks, and provide necessary communication to APA members, stakeholders, and staff. Activities are assigned, and normally reviewed once a week or as necessary to keep work on schedule and projects on time; incumbent is responsible for initiating conversation and consultation with supervisor on project progress aside from regular meetings.
