The Role

Our data is the underlying foundation that makes our product suite work. It’s an integral part of the way ZoomInfo supports sales, marketing, recruiting and operations professionals in gathering critical insights and making connections towards growing their business.

The Data PMM role at ZoomInfo serves as the owner of our data “story” as we continue to refine and improve our data and launch increasingly useful insights to our customers. As a PMM focused on supporting internal teams as well as customer experiences, your goal is to ensure that work completed by Data & Apps teams in designing future looking product innovations are effectively communicated.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help our growing team of Product & Product Marketing folks understand and plan for data improvements coming down the pike. You will distill the complexity of data improvements to communicate the possibilities of customer-facing product updates as well as analyze to identify and communicate possible challenges.

Key Responsibilities
• Own our data narrative including website, talk tracks, trainings etc.
• Lead GTM for Datanyze, Community Edition, and Directories products
• Establish, rollout, reinforce and optimize processes and frameworks to drive scale and efficiencies across the Data org to downstream stakeholders
• Train Apps PMs & PMMs on underlying data foundation, data infrastructure etc. and impact on product development and subsequent customer releases
• Through regular Data Sessions the data PMM & the respective data PMs will brief the apps teams (PMs & PMMs) on data projects that are in progress
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis for the data org to surface obstacles and opportunities
• Talk to customers to provide first-hand feedback to data org
• Create internal knowledge repositories for common data questions for internal teams (from apps PMs to the frontline teams)
• Craft consistent positioning, messaging, use cases, and supporting documentation for the Apps PMMs (and PMs) to leverage

What You Bring to the Table
• 5+ years of Product Marketing experience with experience marketing highly technical products
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong writer who is able to distill complicated information into necessary details
• Proven experience working effectively in a changing environment; adaptable and resilient, working towards solutions during times of change
• Strong interpersonal and team skills: a collaborative self-starter with the ability to influence and support others
• Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
• Uses insights to drive next course of action; ability to synthesize information and articulate a cohesive story via decks/presentations
• Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remedies
• Passion for velocity, enabling the team to scale through superior project management

Qualifications
• 5+ years of customer success, account management, or sales experience in SaaS or similar industry

• Broad knowledge and experience in Sales and Marketing processes and systems
• ZoomInfo Certification preferred
• General knowledge of cloud architecture as well as IT landscape a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and crisis management
• Experience in any of the following a plus: Process Improvement, Decision Making, Managing Processes, Planning, Analyzing Information, Developing Standards
