You will push Zapier’s brand identity system to reach its full creative potential, discovering new, innovative ways to connect with our audience, using creativity to solve business problems.

We are looking for an expert team leader, who is adept at leading creatives and has mastered the ability to work closely with art directors, writers, strategists, producers, and designers. You have the ability to both understand and participate in strategic conversations and lead others through the creative conception, development, and execution process. You have experience working at scale and leading complex work streams independently. You’re outstanding at crafting the detail from conception to delivery. You're consistently able to connect the dots in culture to find the common ground between a brand and its audiences.

This position is a leadership role within the talented Brand Studio. You’ll report to our Head of Creative, and work with Brand Designers, Interactive Designers, Motion Designers, Writers, Strategists, and Program managers to imagine and produce brand experiences across all channels.

About you
• 8+ years of experience in creative direction, art direction and design, remote team management experience is a plus—but not a must.
• You have a history of providing oversight to creative teams, establishing processes, and driving cross-functional projects. You communicate—and operate—with humor and empathy.
• Your design process is strategically focused. You write amazing creative briefs that are clear, simple, and most of all set the team up for truly high quality and impactful work.
• You have a knack for realizing a creative vision as a manager, creator and mentor, ranging from large-scale initiatives to channel-specific executions.
• As an empathetic, fast learner, you navigate the needs of partners across the business and balance driving business impact with executing on amazing creative.

You are a skilled programmer. You don’t expect to come up with designs and leave implementation to others. Instead, you dig in and get stuff done. Our main tech stack is Nodejs, Angular, AWS, MongoDB and more, you’ll be working with all.

You solve problems. Engineers write lots of code, but that is not all they do. You can recognize when something isn’t working and do the work to figure out how to fix it. This could be with code, or by working with your teammates.

You are a skilled written communicator. eatOS is a 100% remote team and being able to communicate well is critical. Chat and video are our primary means of communication. You can communicate unfamiliar technical topics clearly and in an approachable way.

• Build and maintain Integrations on Zapier and other similar platform for crucial APIs
