You’re passionate about benefits and payroll administration and always come up with recommendations on improving current processes and creating the best possible experience for employees. You have experience working with LOA’s and have strong excel experience (pivot tables & v-look ups).
As a Benefits & Payroll Assistant, you will:
• Monitor and respond to employee questions related to benefits and payroll
• Review and approve ADP benefit enrollments and life change adjustments including requesting documentation to enroll dependents and monitoring waived enrollments
• Audit benefit enrollment/deductions (during open enrollment)
• Set up COBRA subsidies, reconcile benefit invoices, and assist in the preparation of payroll payment batches
• Monitor and administer communications between Line Managers and HR regarding STD and FMLA claims
• Create commuter deduction files for payroll processing
• Take on ad hoc reporting and requests as needed
At this time we are seeking NY-based candidates or candidates who can commute to our office in New York City. Our employees work in a flexible hybrid model and are expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
