· Assists the marketing and communications director to manage, produce and deliver VWS’ marketing materials including annual Wine & Dine Guide, Destination Magazine, trade show booth support materials including displays, banners and signage.

· Highly creative and have practical knowledge for graphic design details. Oversee the production of digital and print design solutions (like logos, banners, promotional e- mails) Have the technical skill and ability to handle creation of in-house design tasks (e.g., special event invitations or resizing print/digital ads).

· Assist and support convention sales department with various marketing support projects including the concepting and supervising the design, layout and development of sales materials.

· Produces, manages, submits, and tracks all consumer, convention and sports advertising placements and contracts with various print and digital media outlets.

· Oversees research to assist senior management in making strategic decisions to more effectively and efficiently market Winston-Salem. Manages qualitative and quantitative research projects.

· Create, pitch, and manage promotional ideas, marketing campaigns, contests, and sweepstakes.

· Work with Communications manager to create, script and oversee the production of promotional videos, photo shoots and PowerPoint presentations.

Required education and/or Experience

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum (5) years print media production and/or graphic design.

Minimum (2) years of ad agency or publishing experience.

· Experience in travel and tourism marketing and/or advertising agency work.

· Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

· Able to travel as requested.

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external selling strategy that leverages our portfolio of apparel brands and our manufacturing/graphic capabilities to increase revenues and profits in the off price and clubs businesses for Activewear. This position will work closely with the sales team, product teams and executional teams to ensure sell in has clear executional follow through. Responsibilities

Lead and Develop strategies for Sales, Profit, Space, Trade, and Assortment Management.
• Serve as a primary internal activewear contact for Off-price / Clubs business development.
• Full accountability for continuous and comprehensive sales action plans to achieve sales goals – display ability to execute short term and long term opportunities in managing results.
• Clear understanding of Off-Price / Clubs channel processes, strategies and financial metrics to communicate and collaborate with Hanesbrands business partners. Drive alignment and execution parity between organizational objectives.
• Manage and execute consistent business review with cross functional Activewear teams, including but not limited to, sales, marketing, forecasting, planning, customer service, and design/merchandising.

Qualifications
