The Customer Service Representative is a REMOTE position responsible for servicing Windstar Cruises and products within our call center/contact center environment. This role services our Travel Advisors and Guests via Inbound and Outbound Calls, Email, Chat and other sources as assigned. Customer Service Representatives assist our Travel Advisors and Guests with existing reservations effectively with focus on appropriate service, efficiency, accuracy and completeness. Customer Service Representatives provide appropriate service and sales backup support to achieve goals and represent Windstar cruises as 180 degree from Ordinary.

This is a remote work environment with a base hourly wage plus incentive, work within the comfort of your own home!
• We work in an INBOUND call center environment.
• We are surrently seeking to fill open shifts for weekends and evenings.
• This position is CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED– this is not a sales focused role. (Although some sales calls will be handled, creating an opportunity for extra commission!)
• Windstar will provide all the equipment you will need!
• You must have access to a hard wired internet connection

Responsibilities
• Conduct daily production work related to the processing of bookings in the systems and subordinate systems, with high level booking quality and accuracy.
• Process reservations, revisions, cancellations, booking notes and all aspects of the bookings using reservation system.
• Apply company policy effectively to bookings.
• Provide 180 degrees from Ordinary Guest Service through all lines of communication to our guests and clients in a professional and calm demeanor at all times.

We are searching for a team and accuracy-oriented Inventory Generalist to join the Product Development team. The Inventory Generalist will be responsible for coordinating programs, systems, and processes related to the Product Development team. This role requires the ability to align process and system improvement responsibilities with daily Product Development needs, which support the organizational philosophy. This person will have a wide breadth of duties to be organized and maintained accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Builds Transfers in the booking software, with ongoing maintenance of pricing and availability. Amends build as business needs dictate
• Handles systems maintenance and testing as it pertains to the role. Able to identify, communicate and provide solutions for system and process improvements
• Researches booking software issues to understand source cause and drive resolution through to completion
• Responsible for invoicing and verifying occupancy for payment to vendors
• Work with the team on product loading, as pertains to transfers, hotels, cruise tours, and shore excursions, ensuring accuracy and hitting deadlines
• Cross-train across all roles in the inventory department to ensure total coverage and assistance with work overflow for hotels, cruise tours, and shore excursions
• Auditing functions, including, but not limited to: transfer, hotel & shore excursion building and cross-referencing software & database components with inventory block documents
• Identify waitlisted inventory & collaborate with team. Update software & clear waitlists when additional space secured. Prepare shore excursion waitlists to be reviewed on-board
• Pull, compile, and distribute reporting to support inventory requirements and maximize selling opportunities
• Regularly monitor website to ensure products are reflected as intended
• Action queries from Vacation Planning as relate to transfers, segment continuity, and other topics as assigned
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications
• Strong existing knowledge of the Seaware reservations platform
• 1-2 years hospitality/travel industry; preferably cruise
• Computer education and/or experience with systems operations
• Proven skills in leading projects and coordinating multiple responsibilities
• Excellent task management and organizational skills, with the ability to react to quick changes in strategy
• Experience in managing detail oriented projects with strict deadlines
• Self-starter, motivated, analytical, accurate, inquisitive, independent thinker, team player
• Ability to think outside of the box, make data-based decisions, and come up with new ideas
• Must be able to interact with a variety of people and staff of all levels throughout the organization and externally

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Port and Marine Operations Specialist to assist in the securing and managing of Windstar port reservations, the building and verification of ship itineraries, the processing and tracking of port operations and other associated invoices related to the Windstar Cruises fleet operations globally. This team member will be assisting in the maintaining of various data repositories and databases that support the Marine, Safety & Environmental Operations team. The Port and Marine Operations Specialist requires focused attention to detail and follow-through, accuracy with numbers and ability to work on projects independently as well as part of a team. The Port and Marine Operations Specialist will directly report to the Manager, Port Operations, and work closely with the Managers, Nautical Operations and Marine Operations.

Responsibilities
• In conjunction with the Manager, Port Operations:
• Receive, record and process port and crew invoices.
• Determine the appropriate coding of port and crew invoices.
• Populate the monthly schedule of advanced payments.
• Compare current invoices to invoices from previous calls, against historic costs for a port, and the established budget.
• Determine unusual and unexpected cost overages or trends related to the costs of operating in a specific port.
• Identify as early as possible the mooring position of ships in all ports, then continue to track and update turn port information.
• Check pre-season and confirm all port operations reference data is correct, including that any associated agreements with port agencies are up to date.
• Secure and manage port reservations, including building and verification of ship itineraries.
• Verify as required the information contained in submitted Port Authority Ship Information Sheets (PASIS).
• Maintain Port Agent contact repository/database.
• Build and maintaining a relationship with port agents that support Windstar Cruises:
• Including communicating with them for ongoing and/or outstanding issues, outstanding invoices and issues where timely information is required to support the ship(s).
• In conjunction with the itinerary planning team, assist in engaging with port agents regarding port questionnaires and the collection of other data to support ships operations.
• Support the Marine, Safety and Environmental Operations Team, including specifically the Managers, Nautical and Marine Operations in:
• The collection from multiple sources, consolidation and presentation in an effective way Best Practices and Detailed Port Information repository for all ports that Windstar Cruises visits globally. In the maintaining of this Best Practices and Detailed Port Information repository ensure it is periodically reviewed, checked, and updated with the available information as appropriate being validated/re-validated.
• The collection, compiling and outreach associated with projects and initiatives as assigned.

The Manager, Fleet Public Health Services has direct responsibilities for the company’s Fleet-wide Public Health Program and all associated policies/procedure, including food safety programs, water safety and sampling programs, communicable and infectious illness prevention and mitigation programs, and the integrated pest management program. This position also has responsibilities for assisting and ensuring the Windstar Cruise fleet is in compliance with company Public Health guidance and associated regulatory requirements, continuously monitoring communicable and infectious disease issues fleet-wide and being directly involved in and/or assisting in the training of onboard shipboard staff regarding Public Health program procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement all activities associated with company Public Health policies and programs, including development of Public Health operational policies and procedures pertaining to all company operations. This includes development and oversight of the company’s:
• Food safety programs.
• Water safety programs for potable water, pools, and recreational water facilities, including the associated water sampling programs.
• Communicable and infectious illness prevention and mitigation programs, including continuous monitoring of shipboard gastrointestinal illness reporting.
• Integrated Pest Management Program, including program training and oversight visits.
• In conjunction with the Senior Director, Marine, Safety and Environmental Operations, continuously liaison with Fleet Public Health Officer, medical service provider and shipboard senior officers and staff regarding Public Health program issues, training, and readiness for regulatory visits/inspections. This includes development and tracking in conjunction with the Fleet Public Health Officer action lists for Public Health program preparations for operating in the U.S. and Europe.
• Actively participate in the Fleet Safety, Environmental, Public Health and Sanitation committee.
• Directly manage visits by the Fleet Public Health Officer and personally visit Windstar Cruise fleet vessels to verify and assist in compliance with company Public Health policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. These fleet visits will include targeted visits and assistance to prepare vessels for Public Health operations in the U.S. and Europe where specific Public Health inspection regimes exist.
• Oversee and coordinate inspections and training visits by external parties/contractors for shipboard Integrated Pest Management.
• Oversee and be directly involved in the development, management, and enhancement of all training for the Public Health program, including PowerPoint presentations, short training minutes/timeouts, computer-based training, etc. This also includes where appropriate conducting onboard training and mentoring during ship visits, with target areas being potable, pool and recreational water facility safety, housekeeping sanitation/cleaning procedures, air handling system cleanliness and operations, and basic sanitation.
• Be directly involved in conjunction with the Fleet Public Health Officer in supporting ships in responding to regulatory Public Health Inspections, including corrective actions and actions to ensure continuous compliance with Public Health regulations or guidelines.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects in conjunction with the of the company’s Public Health water safety sampling program.
• As appropriate/required, assist in defining the requirements for onboard equipment (hotel, galley, etc.) to meet Public Health requirements, review specifications of equipment for Public Health program/regulation compliance, and assist in identifying and recommending equipment (manufacturers, brands, and models) to support shipboard operations and meet Public Health requirements.
• Monitor future developments related to Public Health regulatory requirements that will affect company operations.
• In conjunction with the Senior Director, Marine, Safety and Environmental Operations, participate in CLIA Public Health and Medical committees.

Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Public Health, Biology, Environmental studies.
• 3+ years of relevant Public Healther professional experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to interface with and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a highly diverse environment.
• Ability ensure effective addressal of operational issues and requirements in a fast moving and demanding work environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
• Ability to be available/on call for extended periods of time, including in possession of current travel document for international travel. Expect to travel 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in the food service industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities management including plumbing, electrical, and pool and spa maintenance.
• Cruise ship experience with primary responsibilities in public health, sanitation, occupational safety, environmental, and training.
• Has attended the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Vessel Sanitation Program training.
