• Using analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of content used on social/digital media channels and provide data-driven insights on trends, help improve the impact of our digital communication.
• Championing digital engagement and social media, sharing expertise to build capability across communication teams and the wider Department.
• You will work closely with the Head of News and Digital to plan, develop and oversee the delivery of output for the Secretary of State for Wales, ministers, and the department.
• Evaluate key communications activities, considering consequences and recommendations for the future.
• Represent the Wales Office in cross government meetings and forums.
• Each member of the team takes part in an on-call system, for which there is allowance, to take calls out-of-hours from the media. This is done on a rotational basis and full training will be given.
