MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Recruit for front-line and office positions

· Consult with leadership, hiring managers, and human resources team to create job descriptions, post requisitions, and develop compensation and sourcing strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Accounting
• Provide internal leadership, ownership, analysis and comprehensive management of all consolidated financial information for the company and affiliates of the company by directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
• Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports both on an individual and consolidated basis.
• Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns and information.
• Establish, challenge and improve the company's existing financial operations and processes with a focus on efficiency and scalability - ideally to a level of performance appropriate for a $100M revenue business
• Building an accounting department as the company grows

Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Work cross functionally with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
• Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, actual vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division.
• Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets and advising executives on ways to use that information to make strategic decisions about the organization’s future growth.
• Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, acquisitions and/or new service offerings.
• Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
• Assist with the development of strategic plans and goals for continued improvement acting as key leader to implement plans

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Accounting
• CPA Strongly Preferred
• 6 years minimum of senior level accounting experience in a multi-entity organization
• Previous Healthcare experience preferred
• Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP compliance and reporting
• Experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues
