Role Description

As pioneers... in global education and research, the School of Textiles and Design seeks to appoint a dynamic, enterprising and aspired leader with a passion for excellence in Design Education who will join our leadership team in Dubai and work with colleagues across the University’s global footprint. The successful candidate should be an established academic with proven track record of teaching, research, and leadership related to design and design focused disciplines. The appointee will be expected to lead both teaching and research operations in their area of specialisation and more broadly across the University. The candidate will also be expected to develop strong links with the industry as well as to provide strategic and operational leadership in the areas of creative branding and promotion, communication design, interior design, and more, including our growing Postgraduate portfolio.

The role will be appointed an academic grade (Associate Professor or Professor) commensurate to their academic experience and will be based at the University’s campus in Dubai. Programmes will be delivered in English and so fluency in English is essential.
