• Willingness and ability to physically carry and transport a load of daily applications, in person, to local Consulates
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with professional demeanor
• Excellent command of English is required, additional languages a plus (but not required)
• Minimum education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• A good attention to detail and high level of accuracy under tight timelines
• A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to begin work rotating shifts from Monday to Fridays and some Saturdays, if needed, between 7:00am – 7:00pm

Schengen Visa Application Centre Deputy Manager
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead, by example, a team of 2-3 staff to operate the Application Centre on a daily basis, including managing both appointments and walk-in applicants. This requires an ability to calmly manage a high, varying volume of customers at a time, as well oversee customer service, data entry, and biometric enrolment through various software platforms.
• Self-starter who is comfortable reporting remotely to offsite Manager, as well as working with support functions based offsite.
• Manage local HR requirements, such as hiring staff, payroll time sheets, performance reviews, training, and team building.
• Responsible for maintaining Service Level Agreements to ensure performance of the Application Centre is in line with contractual and security requirements from the government.
• Trouble shooting IT issues with the help of the remote IT Service Desk, as needed.
• Working directly with customers to assist with completion of visa applications, processing of documents, and biometric enrolment alongside your staff.
• Capture of biometrics (fingerprints and facial) on behalf of Schengen governments.
• Creation of weekly and daily required reports on performance, security incidences, volumes, and sales.
• Understanding varying visa requirements from different foreign governments and applying this knowledge to guide applicants on their visa requirements.
• Processing applications and data entry in the customized VFS software, including digitalization of documents.
• Daily dispatch of applications for delivery to local Consulates for processing.
• Handling customer queries in person, by email and on the telephone
• Professional communication skills to represent the company when interacting with local foreign government officials
• Fee collection and cash handling
• Willingness and ability to physically carry and transport a load of daily applications, in person, to local Consulates
• Some travel may be required for supporting new projects and/or receiving training
• Available to support other operations in the region, including meeting with clients in the US for mobile biometric enrolment.
