Vanity Fair seeks a detail-oriented, organized, and digitally savvy Associate Web Producer to join our fast-paced editorial team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and strong communicator with an editorial background—and ideally experience with a CMS. The associate producer will be responsible for maintaining the print-to-web production calendar, as well as building magazine and digital-first stories. They will curate, write, and produce various newsletters across our verticals. Moreover, they’ll be expected to coordinate amongst many departments, including editors, writers, newsletter operations, social media managers, fact-checkers, copy editors, and photo editors. The role will work alongside a second associate web producer and report to the Editorial Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Building daily articles and galleries for VF.com, including magazine content and online-only features
• Producing daily newsletters
• Managing site upkeep, such as homepage updates, as well as bug tracking
• Assisting in the management of Vanity Fair’s digital archive
• Coordinating content between editors, writers, copy editors, and social media managers, and more
• Helping with special production projects, including themed issues, tentpole events, and live blogs

Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in digital media, and familiarity with a CMS
• A self-starting team player, detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and able to problem-solve and multitask
• Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills—and tech savviness
• A passion for Vanity Fair’s print and digital content
• Based in New York City

Base Pay Range: $56,500 - $73,000

Condé Nast is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications based in New York to help lead strategic brand communications for Vanity Fair and GQ. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Communications and will play a pivotal role in strengthening and executing the PR strategy to elevate the world-class editorial and business narratives for both iconic brands. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with editorial leaders to build a strong, integrated communications program and drive innovation among the team to help amplify the journalism, content and leadership across the brands in new ways. In addition, the Senior Manager will support long form projects and industry-facing strategy for Condé Nast Entertainment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Leverage expertise in brand communications to deliver best-in-class communications and PR campaigns and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Director of Communications and editorial leadership on wider narrative positioning and business strategy.
• With a clear point of view, execute advanced strategies and tactics with measurable results to build both consumer and industry awareness.
• Promote content, talent and business priorities across Vanity Fair and GQ spanning all platforms, including print, digital, social, audio and video.

• A clear understanding of the changing face of the global media landscape to inform the creation of new PR strategies.
• Consistent track record of securing high-level media coverage in news, trade and entertainment press.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis communications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams; comfortable interacting with senior leaders and executives.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive and existing relationships with media contacts, including news, business, trade and entertainment reporters.
• 7+ years experience in media and/or entertainment communications.

Base Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000

Key Responsibilities And Requirements
• Work alongside the Executive Director, Consumer Revenue to deliver global consumer revenue goals across The New Yorker and Vanity Fair brands, with a focus on COGS and net margin revenue targets
• Collaborate and partner with editorial leadership around opportunities and support for tentpole content and events
• Provide PMO-like support for initiatives that support the business, including The New Yorker Festival event
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on performance and trends across the matrixed teams

You will lead efforts in these areas:
• Customer Acquisition: Subscription & Membership
• Manage the subscription and membership businesses, scaling growth through direct management of acquisition, retention, with a sharp focus on CAC, LTV, lifecycle and renewal conversion rate management
• Oversee the acquisition, retention, winback, and in-life CRM strategy alongside the CoE teams to deliver robust communications programmes
• Lead creative, paid, and brand briefing process with CoE teams, delivering robust testing plans to drive ROI
• Own and translate centralised reporting and dashboards, analytics and capabilities to enable consumer revenue growth, and customer monetisation strategies
• Work on strategy for CRM, customer life cycle and retention and successful engagement strategies
• Work with the global marketing teams to bring to life customer cohorts, profiles and insights to inform all marketing activity
• Data, Product & Technology
• Work with Product and Data to drive a shared strategic roadmap and advance across the brands
• Work with global Conde Nast partners, to deliver the best product and customer experience
• Commerce, Continuity & Events
• Develop partnerships and events programming to enable growth of the portfolio across subscription, membership and revenue
• Support commerce teams where needed to drive growth

Essential Skills & Requirements
• Experience in a consumer-based direct response, acquisition and retention performance marketing role across all sources - Paid, Direct Mail, Email, Social, Partnerships
• Experience with App marketing tactics and prior success with app audience growth a plus
• Knowledge of real time data and the key metrics that drive a subscription-based business, including CAC, Renewals, LTV, AOV, to ensure successful marketing efforts based on data
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with cross functional, matrix teams
• Strong experience and understanding of multi-channel marketing including print, digital, social, video, audio, and events
