The team member will work in the research group of Professor Arnd Florack (Applied Social Psychology and Consumer Behavior). The research group focuses on consumer behavior and, in particular, on consumers’ beliefs, decision making, self-regulation, and well-being. The department offers labs with excellent research facilities including mobile and remote eye tracking systems.

Successful candidates should pursue the development of a research profile in the research areas of the research group. Experiences in linking research on social cognition and consumer behavior are of advantage. In particular, we look for a highly motivated researcher who is interested in studying how characteristics... of social and non-social environments influence consumers’ beliefs and behavior.

The position (40h/week) is limited to 3 years. A doctoral degree is a requirement for the position. However, we strongly encourage doctoral students who are close to submitting their dissertations to apply.

The Department of Philosophy is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work in (joint) projects with Univ. Prof. Dr. Angela Kallhoff, Professor of Ethics with Special Emphasis on Applied Ethics. Univ. Prof. Dr. Angela Kallhoff areas of specialization include, among others, systematics and history of ethics, basic questions of practical philosophy, political philosophy and applied ethics with a focus on ethics of nature.
