The Collections Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring receipt of all past-due payments from production music clientele. Their main duties include monitoring account aging statements, contacting customers to notify them of overdue payments, documenting activities, and reporting debts collected.

Job Description:
• Utilize our client's designated collections software to monitor the accounts receivables to identify overdue clients.
• Contact past-due clients to either collect full payment or manage achievable repayment plans.
• Maintain detailed activities of client outreach, as well as records of any payments collected from customers.
• Review monthly aging reports, and identify, and account for customer accounts with a high probability of uncollectible balances.
• Liaise with the sales team to communicate customer complaints and develop strategies to minimize past-due accounts.
• Submit monthly reports to management outlining progress and reporting any issues.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Computer skills, including but not limited to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with MS Great Plains.
• Experience using Lockstep Anytime Collect is a plus.
• Must be comfortable interacting professionally and courteously with clients via email and phone.
• Attention to detail: strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to work amid distractions and interruptions.
• Ability to work with very little supervision.
• Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Education/Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a collection capacity.
• Collections, customer service, and/or delinquent accounts experience are preferred.
• Music/Entertainment experience is a plus.
• University/College Diploma or equivalent is a plus.
