We are looking for a Senior App & Growth Marketing Specialist to drive acquisition and activation for our category-leading mobile app. You will learn to quickly assess acquisition channels, test campaigns, and productionalize successful initiatives. You will own relationships with key data partners, and understand integration with proprietary Tripadvisor data. You will partner effectively with channel owners in paid search, social, affiliate, and display advertising, as well as with vendors and cross-functional partners in Product and Engineering.

The Senior Specialist will support experimentation of net new marketing channels for Tripadvisor’s Experiences and Hotel marketplace products across both online and offline platforms (podcasts, direct mail, digital OOH, partnerships, CTV, and more). We’re looking for an experienced, agile, entrepreneurial, and proactive person to own app marketing initiatives and help us find the next big marketing channel(s) for Tripadvisor, scale them profitably, and make an impact on the company bottom line.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and drive a testing roadmap for app marketing campaigns globally and manage budgets accordingly
• Work closely with a highly experienced team of marketers, analysts and data scientists
• Partner with the dedicated engineering team for channel integrations, tools and features
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and identify areas of opportunity to improve KPIs across areas of responsibility
• Provide updates on app marketing performance to wider traffic acquisition team, finance and leadership team.
• Advise on digital and app marketing best practices, the latest tools and systems

Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, partnerships across multiple channels specifically including app marketing campaigns
• Experience working closely with marketing, engineering and data science partners to develop custom tools and strategies to maximize performance
• Examples of past experience standing up new campaigns from scratch and scaling them globally
• Experience with app tracking vendors such as Appsflyer and managing app store optimizations
• Deep understanding and experience in leveraging 1st and 3rd party data, and in dealing with ever changing privacy regulations across geos
• The ability to work with cross-functional teams to define and redefine programs and project goals and KPIs to fit ever-changing market trends
• Exceptional problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Strong, relentless attention and focus to details

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. What you'll do:

As a Customer Service Advisor for Tripadvisor Rentals you will undertake a variety of duties from troubleshooting technical Issues to investigate in-depth, complex cases where your mediation and negotiation skills will be called upon to deliver a high level of resolution. Using all available knowledge tools and resources to achieve the defined KPIs you will be required to quickly diagnose and triage issues, resolve incidents and/or dispatch to the next resolving group according to the escalation process. You are expected to have the technical and interpersonal skills to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Handle English and German inbound/outbound calls/emails or chats according to company policy.
• Identify and resolve customers' requests/questions or complaints using relevant knowledge base tools or other technical resources.
• Ensure excellent troubleshooting documentation.
• Communicate and consult with colleagues to share best practice.
• Follow best practice incident management processes to ensure the KPIs are met.
• Comply with/complete global support specific or ad-hoc tasks.
• Escalate complex tickets to 2nd tier support and follow up for resolution.
• Meet support KPIs (Initial response time, Quality scores, Client happiness rating).

The ideal person for this role will be:
• 1-3 years of proven experience in a Customer Service position where technical skills and troubleshooting was required
• "Problem Solving" character - Ability to apply analytical and investigative skills to resolve customer issues creatively and with minimal direction.
• Customer oriented, enthusiastic, courteous, assertive and motivated to take charge of both customer engagement and problem resolution.
• A team player who is positive, friendly and has a can-do attitude towards staff and customers.
• Receptive to constructive feedback and changes within the business.
• Confident and competent in handling complaints, mediation and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Experience within the travel, tourism, leisure and hospitality industries would be an advantage but is not essential if you have a passion for customer care.
• Experience of working to customer satisfaction based targets and operational metrics such as quality and handle time.
• Fluency in written and spoken English & German language is essential. (C1 level).
