We work with over 1,000 events per year, using a combination of in-house registration, fundraising and volunteer software as well as industry leading external race timing software. EnMotive is seeking an Onsite Event Technician that will be a part of a growing team working to refine and enhance a suite of consumer-facing applications. Candidates should be comfortable working on projects either as part of a small team, or individually depending on the needs of the project. Candidates should also expect to be working in a fast pace and dynamic environment, able to shift from one project or business priority to the next as projects may be broken down into smaller tasks and release more frequently.
The Onsite Event Technician will serve as the primary liaison for our on-site hardware and software solution in support of outside events as well as fulfilling services on-site at events. This position is responsible for all aspects of help desk support and technical assistance within the Buffalo Grove office as well as assisting others remotely. The position requires one to address a wide variety of user issues, including software problems, hardware failures, and network issues. If it is a software or hardware issue, this may include the need to install or repair the problem software or replace the malfunctioning hardware. If an issue is beyond one’s abilities, the expectation is to contact the appropriate technician or repair service. In addition to office duties the position requires travel to event locations to set-up, operate and maintain LANs and all related computer and technical equipment for the packet pickup process and assist with event day timing operations.
BASE SALARY: $55,000-$65,000/yr
