• Oversee and track department budgets to monitor spending and use insights
• Manage our freelancer relationships by working closely with the Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams—from registration to payment fulfillment.
• Manage calendars, content plans, and archives that house our team's coverage of music and cultural events
• Produce and distribute a weekly company-wide email to communicate priorities to the company
• Organize our team's on-call schedule weekly, planning for full quarters at a time
• Conduct regular assessments for potential improvements to all standard operating procedures you oversee
• Support the Special Projects Manager with team documents and systems for editorial and programming production

Qualifications

You Have:
• 5 years of experience in operations or business management
• Experience managing freelancers and vendors
• Experience in financial management
• Expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Google Sheets, and experienced in project management applications such as Airtable.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• No problem working in fast-paced and often-changing work environments
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Description

TIDAL's Creative Studio develops work that spans across channels, including but not limited to: web, social, email, experiential, broadcast, print, and on-platform. Production Designers are an important part of a creative team of art directors, copywriters, visual and motion designers, and project managers. However, on a daily basis, we also work with partners (like Brand and Product Marketing, Social, Partnerships, Editorial, Retention) and Creative Leadership. Production Designers collaborate with other members of our Creative Brand Studio to develop creative, on-brand solutions that help tell TIDAL's story, and amplify our promise of forging connections between artists and music lovers. This is a crucial, hands-on role that requires the ability to support the Creative Studio in preparing creative assets for a variety of digital channels. We are looking for a Senior Accountant, reporting to TIDAL's Accounting Lead, who will have responsibility for the daily operations of our global operating expense accounting process. You will bring a solid accounting background, and a fresh perspective. You Will:
• Manage global operating expense and accruals processes as well as payroll accounting and Tidal's new products as they roll out
• Oversee the work of several members of our business process outsourcing team in India
• Assist in annual group and statutory audit work and related filings
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, partnering with Finance and Operations to ensure accuracy of results and balances:
• Prepare / review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analyses
• Perform flux analyses and present findings to the Head of Accounting and other senior leadership
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal and Operations to drive important initiatives and improvements including automation of accounting entries and processes as part of system upgrades
• Support quarterly reviews, annual audits and other local financial compliance requirements in relevant territories, including preparation of workpapers and memos
• Foster change in the organization through participation in special projects / analyses and process improvement programs, including enhancing documentation as part of SOX readiness and testing

Qualifications

You Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA (or CPA eligibility)
• 4+ years' experience in Accounting roles, with a mix of public accounting and private company experience
• Audit experience preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (can perform complex functions and handle large volumes of data)
• Effective at writing and presenting analyses for a variety of partners / users

Job Description

TIDAL is looking for a passionate, proactive, and strategic Copywriter to join our team. This is a hands-on writing role that sits within our Creative Brand Studio. The role requires that you can speak to work that centers on brand storytelling and show how it is expressed through digital ad copy, brand and product emails, social content, narrative hooks, scroll-stopping headlines, scripts for branded films, and more. Your voice can flex appropriately for target audiences, channel, content, and subject matter while maintaining a cohesive brand voice and tone.

Copywriters are an integral part of a team of art directors, designers, program managers and design technologists. However, on a day to day basis you'll also collaborate with cross-functional partners (like Brand and Product Marketing, and Social) as well as Creative Leadership. In sum, you'll sweat the smallest details, aim to deepen the cultural relevance of the TIDAL brand, and understand what it takes to develop and execute great creative work.

You Will:
• Collaborate to translate content and marketing strategies into creative concepts and communicate them through writing.
• Distill complex subject matter into simple, straightforward language that anyone can understand.

• Consider the audience journey across several brand touchpoints.
• Write within the guides of our brand voice and tone.

Qualifications

You have:
• 8 years of industry experience (preferably agency, in-house, studio, production house, or relevant industry marketing experience)
• 4 year r B.S. or B.A. degree is preferred but not necessarily required

• Excellent grammar, writing, and editorial skills.
• Worked in a fast-paced environment and balanced multiple projects.
• Have a positive attitude and a manageable ego with the ability to present and defend good work.
