This role is critical to delivering products on time and while maintaining customer satisfaction. This is a dual-purpose position. As a member of the purchasing team you will participate in the ordering of the products we sell. As a member of the production team you will ensure proper receipt of ordered goods and help organize them for production.
This role will require the utmost attention to detail, the highest level of communication, strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Job Duties:
• Accurately and efficiently order products from suppliers.
• Interact directly with vendors
• Communicate potential supply chain issues to Customer Service
• Ensure that materials are delivered to meet planned schedule dates in production
• Verify incoming shipments and accurately sort for production
• Use analytical skills to provide strategic analysis and make recommendations for continuous improvements
Personal Qualifications:
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
• Strong sense of urgency, with ability to multitask, work through ambiguity, and balance shifting priorities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional follow through
• A customer service mindset
• A team first attitude
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, walk and lift up to 40 pounds
• Does not make excuses, comes with solutions or recommendations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
