You’ve read a million job specs before, but for the record…...

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build the foundational product and architecture of the Manifest platform. You will be a multiplier for the entire company by not only delivering high-quality code on-time, but helping your teammates do so as well, by mentoring and providing support whenever needed.

You find great excitement and passion in being challenged; you’re able to find, evaluate, and leverage new technologies; you have a love for solving complex problems; and are energized by making customers successful.

You will work across the entire stack, from integrations and back-end infrastructure to the customer-facing UI to the downstream alerting and notifications logic. You will help source, interview, hire, and retain the best engineers we can, and you will be instrumental in establishing a high-performing engineering culture.

And as an early member of the Manifest team, you’ll do things nowhere near related to software engineering. You might pick fonts for the website or demo to VCs. You’ll probably choose company swag or book a holiday party venue. We’re all wearing a lot of hats while we build this airplane in mid-air, and mixing metaphors as we go.

Technologies We Use

Our tech stack is built using modern serverless webapp frameworks. While this represents our current tech stack, we care most about using the right tool for the job. At this early stage, you’ll be deeply involved in making architectural decisions – and we care more about the outcome than the tool.
