WXIX-TV, Cincinnati, has an immediate opening for a News Producer. We are looking for a talented and creative news producer who knows how to win in a very competitive news market. This is a 4 day work week position!

Love news, but want a little more work/life balance? WXIX-TV, Cincinnati, has an immediate opening for a full time News Producer, but with an extra day off, every week! We are looking for a talented and creative news producer who knows how to win in a very competitive news market. The successful candidate must be a strong writer with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You must be able to work well in high pressure situations and thrive on breaking news coverage. This is not a show-stacking job, you must have a flare for showcasing.

The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to present today's news in a unique and interesting manner which lives our NOW brand. You must be skilled in the use of social media and how it translates to driving viewers to the television screen. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience of producing daily newscasts for a major network affiliate in a medium to large market. This is not an entry level job.

The #1 News station in Cincinnati is looking for our next great reporter! WXIX-TV in Cincinnati wins with urgent live shots, great exclusives, and powerful storytelling every day. We are looking for an experienced Multi Media Journalist with a hunger for breaking news and tracking down an exclusive lead story. The ideal candidate will also create different active and compelling presentations for on air and digital platforms, using pre-production, graphics and other tools to give the viewer a smart, clear and impressive story. Candidate must have a strong presence on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Cultivating story ideas

- Gathering and confirming information

- Gathering video, sound, graphics for stories

- Writing and editing stories for television, web, OTT

- Regular social media posting and interaction

Qualifications/Requirements:

The San Francisco Chronicle is seeking a reporter to join our Breaking News Engagement team. This 12-week paid internship provides training and mentoring while covering a variety of stories both in-office and in the field. The focus is on breaking news, but there will also be opportunities to work on audience engagement projects and collaborate with our data journalism, development, and audience teams. We're looking for someone who is quick to jump on any story, whether it's related to weather, criminal justice, or public health. All college students are encouraged to apply, with preference given to those enrolled or recently completed a degree at a Bay Area four-year or community college. The internship typically runs from June to August. Hourly rate: $18.07 (rate as of 7/1/2024 is dependent upon the new SF Minimum wage).
