We are accepting applications for two intermittent Tour Guide positions located at Marblehead Lighthouse State Park and East Harbor State Park... headquartered in Ottawa County. The addresses are 110 Lighthouse Dr., Marblehead, OH 43440 and 1169 N Buck Rd., Lakeside-Marblehead, OH 43440. These positions are utilized during the division's typical busiest season which runs from May 1st - September 4th. This is a 1000-hour intermittent (unclassified) position beginning May 1st, 2023. This position is five days a week which will include holidays and weekends, report times and duration are subject to change based on operational need.

What you'll do:
• Interact daily with a variety of customers who enjoy the Marblehead Lighthouse and East Harbor Nature Center.
• Give historical tours on the Marblehead Lighthouse, East Harbor State Park, glacial grooves, Lake Erie, and surrounding areas.
• Perform custodial duties with a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Work outside in some of the most beautiful parks in Ohio.

Unusual working conditions: working outside exposed to weather, must be able to provide own transportation.
