AEI education scholars Beth Akers, Mr. Eden, Dr. Hess, Nat Malkus, and Robert Pondiscio engage with the network by sharing research, facilitating conversations, and hosting events with members to preserve the integrity of public education, advance principles of liberty and pluralism, and equip the next generation to carry the responsibility and enjoy the blessings of American citizenship.

An intern for the CERN team will assist with various long- and short-term projects by editing reports and op-eds, identifying prospective members for the network, organizing information and events, and providing administrative assistance as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, keen attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to learn about education policy, exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask among various projects, and a clear interest in coalition building, AEI, and education policy.

There will be two start dates for the summer program: May 30 and June 6, 2023.
