Based in the US, the tentree Major Accounts Manager is an important role in expanding the brand footprint in the... largest outdoor lifestyle market. The Major Accounts Manager is responsible for managing all US based major accounts, exceeding sales targets, executing GTM strategies, building strong relationships and driving growth. You will also be responsible for achieving targets through supporting existing accounts and expanding distribution with the guidance of tentree leadership. You will collaborate closely with key internal tentree stakeholders, external partners and tentree reps. The goal of this role is to combine proven sales experience, strategic planning, and analytical capabilities to exceed established sales targets. This is a remote based position with travel to partner locations or corporate meetings, as required.

What will you be doing?
• You will plan, execute and oversee US major account business. This includes scheduling appointments with category buyers, preparing business overview presentations & strategically selling tentree products.
• You will build and execute seasonal GTM and strategic plans.
• You will manage key business relationships with major accounts to expand the book of business.
• You will work collaboratively with tentree head office to assist in order entry while maintaining deadlines.
• You will identify weekly opportunities and send curated assortments to buyers based on factual selling data & available tentree inventory.
• You will regularly analyze, provide feedback, forecast, and summarize sales results by tracking partner sell-thru, inventory levels, and category growth.
• You will act as the primary liaison for major accounts between Sales and Marketing to push forward and execute on meaningful campaigns that grow the brand within our retail partner stores.
• You will act as the primary liaison for major accounts between Sales and Operations to streamline orders through tentree ERP and shared EDI platforms.
• You will undertake other ad hoc responsibilities and tasks as required.

Requirements
• 3-5 years of sales experience in relevant industry; experience selling apparel is preferred
• 5 years proven sales excellence, strong account relationships and sales management
• High ability to sell, influence and negotiate
• Strong understanding of merchandising trends
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and strategic planning
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience in Netsuite, Elastic Suite and EDI platforms an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Passionate about sustainability or eager to learn more about it
• Possesses a can-do attitude and not afraid to drive strategy while also getting into the weeds
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%
