Featuring 24 active-duty musicians, the Singing Sergeants support military and civilian ceremonial and diplomatic functions, education outreach events, and concerts throughout metropolitan Washington, D.C., and the United States. Formed initially as a men's chorus in 1945 from the rank and file of The U.S. Army Air Forces Band, the Singing Sergeants became the first premier military chorus to enlist women in 1973, diversifying their mission and increasing their scope of musical versatility. One aria or art song. 2. One jazz standard or Broadway-style selection from any era. 3. One pop, rock, or country selection. - At least one of the three selections must be in a language other than English. - All recordings should be performed live with piano or instrumental accompaniment.* 4. Copy of your professional resume with education. Versatility is a key quality of any successful candidate. • Applies make-up and wears a costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role.
• Speaks lines from the script.

• Previous performing experience, including theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions is preferred.
