POSITION

Serving as a Brand Ambassador of Cooper's Hawk, this person will have a high level of visibility and engagement with leadership at the Restaurant Support Center.

This position will be based in Downers Grove, IL, with a hybrid work week of 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Requisition Management :
• Manage full life-cycle recruiting process from initial requisition intake through onboarding
• Partner with Hiring Managers to perform search in-take session, including job description, comp analysis review, sourcing strategies and interview process and tools;

fully understand the role and department function
• Know and stay current with Cooper's Hawk business and value proposition
• Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent, ensure quality selection, as well as manage an active pipeline for future openings
• Creatively source diverse talent for open positions through a variety of resources including traditional networking, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, online and other sources that will allow us to attract and recruit top talent
• Partner with advertising agency as needed to create strategies for difficult to solve positions
• Monitor, track and analyze candidate funnel
• Handle temporary and contractor search support, including identifying agencies, establishing as vendors, and managing partnership during course of search.
• Coach Hiring Managers and those participating in the interview process on the recruitment and hiring process and tools
• Operations Management searches, as needed

Candidate Engagement / Management
• Utilize our applicant tracking system, candidate relationship management (CRM) and other talent pools to market Cooper's Hawk, our career opportunities and EVP
• Conduct interviews for qualified applicants and arrange for follow-up interviews
• Create a positive candidate experience for internal and external candidates by moving them through the process quickly, professionally and with clear communication
• Schedule, review and analyze background check results, references, and assessments
• Facilitate candidate onboarding process with TA Coordinator and Hiring Managers
• Conduct new hire orientation as needed

Process and Tools :
• Analyze and review recruiting data and results by managing metrics and reporting
• Update and / or create tools and processes, as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines
• Other duties or special projects as needed

Skills & Requirements
• Must represent Cooper's Hawk values
• Bachelor's degree
• At least 7 years of in-house recruiting experience with a focus on hiring positions across company departments
• Agency recruiting experience, in addition to in-house experience, preferred
• Demonstrates out-of-the-box thinking for creative sourcing and use of social media to market open requisitions
• Ability to source passive talent and convert to active candidates, using LinkedIn and with outreach in other talent pools
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and project with attention to detail
• Restaurant, retail or hospitality experience preferred
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment
