I have been writing weekly (individual investing, behavioral finance, stock analyses) on my free Substack for close to a year already, but I only have 190 subs. My Substack is called Consume Your Own Tech Investing. My objective of writing on Substack is to build an author's platform (hence Tweeting as well in the last one year) so that I can position myself for a book deal, which my agent and I are shopping for with publishers. My objective of writing on Substack is to build an author's platform (hence Tweeting as well in the last one year) so that I can position myself for a book deal, which my agent and I are shopping for with publishers. My book proposal marries personal investing with psychology and pop culture.

I believe my Substack content is good, but my traction is pathetic. I have seen other Substack writers with similar content zooming to 1,000 subs within 6 months.

I am frankly quite frustrated and not sure what to do. I am not very social media savvy - FYI.

Are you able to help? What can you do to help?
