Duties Include
• Collect, manage and clean datasets.
• Employ new and existing tools to interpret, analyze, and visualize multivariate relationships in data.

Education & Experience (required)

Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (required)
• Substantial experience with MS Office and analytical programs.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload.

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with statistical programs (e.g. r, SPSS, SAS)

The First Year Experience team within the Academic Advising Unit in VPUE is seeking a Program Manager for the Leland Scholars Program (LSP). LSP supports the academic, intellectual, personal, and social development of first-generation and/or low-income (FLI) students with their transition to Stanford through comprehensive programming starting the summer before their first-year at Stanford. The summer flagship experience is a four-week residential program held every August for 60 incoming students. Beyond the summer bridge program, the LSP experience includes year-round programming including a first-year seminar for FLI students, comprehensive advising, and varying workshops and events for all undergraduate FLI students. In this role, you will partner with LSP’s Assistant Director and Director to create and facilitate the LSP student experience to actively support over 300 FLI undergraduate students. As a collaborator with a variety of campus partners, you will participate in the development of events, programs, and policies and serve as an advocate for institutional changes that will positively impact the FLI community at Stanford. This role requires in-person work during LSP’s summer program with an opportunity for hybrid work (3 days on-campus, 2 days remote) during the academic year.

In This Role, You Will
• Collaborate with the LSP professional staff team to develop, implement, and improve LSP summer programs and first-year seminar, based on student and staff feedback.
• Manage outreach and student application processes for LSP summer programs.
• Manage outreach, course scheduling, and enrollment for the first-year seminar.
• Coordinate first-year seminar curriculum with graduate student staff.
• Advise students and refer to campus resources/community agencies when appropriate
• Create and update content for LSP website and social media accounts.
• Develop surveys and evaluation tools to gather program data, and create reports to analyze data
• Coordinate housing, dining, travel and other program logistics for LSP summer programming in partnership with administrative staff
