Position Summary:

The Claims Examiner will act as a liaison between client, employee and healthcare provider. In this position, you are responsible for applying appropriate claims management by providing reliable and responsive service to claimants and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Investigates claim issues providing resolution within departmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Interprets and administers contract provisions: eligibility and duration
• Accurately codes all system fields with correct financial, diagnosis and duration information.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure appropriate claims transition or

facilitate timely return to work.
• Document claim updates in the claim database ensuring accuracy.
• Maintaining departmental and policyholder expectations.
• Adheres to compliance, departmental procedures, and Unfair Claims Practice regulations.
• Actively contributes to customer service, quality and performance objectives.
• Proactively engages in departmental training to remain current with all claim management practices.
• Responsible for managing Performance Guarantee clients and meet targeted metrics.
• Responsible and accountable for maintaining and protecting personal health information. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and abide by HIPPA rules and regulations.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description

Position Summary:

Assist Engineers and Maintenance Team Members in the execution and design of electrical projects, reports, and assist in the documentation. Perform testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair on a variety of control design, analytical equipment and instrumentation. Performs modifications and/or redesign of manufacturing equipment electrical systems and programming as needed. Specifies and requests purchase of components for machine upgrade projects. Analyzes results and may develop test specifications and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities:
• Understand electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics describing PLC-based control systems and modify as necessary.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and program PLC, CNC, HMI, VFD, servo systems and all associated field devices to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Setup, configure, and provide advanced troubleshooting support of plant SCADA, data collection, network (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profinet, Modbus, profibus, RS232/485 etc.) systems as well as work alongside MIS Team Members to collaborate on machine data collection projects.
• Design or oversee contractor design of machine control systems ensuring that all equipment is built and programmed to current NEC specifications and Standard Steel Electrical Standards.
• Assist Plant Electrical Engineers with maintenance and upgrades of plant electrical distribution system substation equipment as needed.
• Provide technical analysis, recommendations and services to Maintenance Department for repair and/or correction of major electrical system equipment failures. Provide technical information, advice and service to others within the division.

Education and Experience:
• Associate Degree in Electronic Technology and/or High School Diploma with advanced experience with Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (science and math knowledge).
• Manufacturing experience is desired, but not required.
• Willing to learn advance technology and electronics.
• Experience working with and directing the activities of Hourly Employees in a Union environment.
• Must have good human relations skills.
